This was a nicer fast-food style restaurant where you order at the counter and they bring the food out to your number. The indoor seating is limited but the patio would be a great area to eat your food if the weather is nice! When we ordered the gentleman taking our order was very nice. They brought our food along with napkins and checked on us twice during the time we were eating. Very friendly staff! My husband ordered the birra tacos and I got the chicken nachos with everything on it! I thought it was pretty good! If we came back I'd probably try some of their other tacos and margaritas!

Decided to try TCL before ending my visit and a great time was by all. I had the trio of steak, beef, and steak/chorizo tacos. Made fresh and delivered to your table promptly. The taste of street tacos in a store front gives you the best pizza f both worlds. With great Tex-Mex and mariachi tunes playing it reminded of my time living in Arizona and Texas.There's more to explore in 'Ville than bourbon and horses.

Taco City Louisville is hands down one of my favorite taco places in Louisville. Their food is always delicious and the service is fast, the only complaint might be the fact that the one in the Highlands is small and so you can't sit inside the restaurant to enjoy your food. This wouldn't be an issue if the weather was nice all year round here. Their margaritas have unique flavors like banana which I've never had before. They do tacos right!

Great place to grab a quick bite to eat. Service was fast. Chips and salsa were good. Brisket taco was really delicious. I got the naked burrito bowl with chicken and it was very filling. My boyfriend even had some of the rice out of it and there was still some leftover that we couldn't finish. Not terribly expensive for lunch! Will definitely come back.

Taco City has always been one of my favorite places in Louisville. The quality that comes from this kitchen needs to be investigated by Gordon Ramsay. Okay okay, joking but still. I have never been dissatisfied with the quality of meat, cheese, or produce that I get from Taco City.The Birria Tacos look fake and from a food magazine everyone I get them. They are juicy without the extra sauce. Each bite makes me happier as I really debate if only 3 tacos is enough. Aside from the food it's got a great people watching porch. This area can be a little hectic but for the most part you can fine a place to plop down.Staff is kind and seriously efficient. You can tell they stress speed and quality. The staff make sure the space stays tidy so you will always see someone around the restaurant making it a better dining experience. If you don't have a Taco City in your city, you should move.

Ordered doordash from here and cannot attest to the service, however I was not impressed with the food.For starters I always drive by this place and see their patio and think that it looks like fun but never stop because I don't want to deal with parking. However I decided to order it for lunch through doordash and was overall not impressed.The Quesa-Birrias Tacos were below average. The meat itself was lacking flavor and was shredded to a point where the fibers resembled hair. The broth was decent and had flavor but it was not enough to redeem this dish.The elote was... different. The mayo was piled on thick, making it far too wet. And it was also very lackluster in flavor. Despite having chili powder on it I would have been comfortable allowing a child to try this. It was not spicy at all. The corn was cooked and juicy though! I think this would actually be a perfect way to introduce a child to elote since it is lacking the flavors that some could deem spicy. Overall I would consider coming back to enjoy the patio and try drinks. But I would be wary of the food and instead try an appetizer instead of a meal.

This relatively cramped spot on Bardstown has some very straightforward service, with quick food preparation and surprisingly small wait times. We ordered the carnitas burrito, chicken flautas, and yuca frita with two Jarritos. The food was brought out to us after we ordered inside.I had the burrito, and it was fantastic. Their guacamole is very flavorful and their slow-cooked pork is some of the best I've had at this level.The chicken flautas seemed a little plain, but didn't have any poor qualities.The yuca frita came out lukewarm, but were still very crispy on the outside.Overall, this restaurant is definitely worth the stop, and I'll be coming back again!TL;DR: Great food, but a little cramped. Good spot if you're a little short on time or you just want some Mexican food.

Tried Taco City located in the Highland across the street from the shopping center were The Comedy Caravan sits in. Handsome outdoor area in front of the restaurant that is large with colorful chairs. Indoors is small with little seating provided.We ordered a variety of tacos after the staff explained how small they were and ordered a cherry lemonade and grapefruit soda. Taco were fresh but not much taste to them. On a 10 point scale, we both gave him a 7. The drinks were the big surprise and rated them a perfect 10. Will try it again and try the Burrito's and more soda please!
