Supermercado Guanajuato

Another amazing local ethnic market to have the great good fortune to access authentic ingredients to recreate recipes. Mexican cuisine is one of our favorites and a go-to at least weekly. Our family lived in Yuma and Phoenix, Arizona, and have also visited Guanajuato in central Mexico, so this is like a food oasis for us and rekindles many pleasant memories. Fresh spices, raw sugar, and even ready made food items are all heavenly. Three locations in the metro area and this one is our favorite. Easy to access, clean, and well organized. Staff are friendly and helpful.

So the market itself is great, dont get me wrong, they have all sorts of things to make your Mexican cuisine (not Ortega tacos) amazing and authentic. But there is something better, and that is the little taqueria that is attached. The food here is simply magical. I ordered two, a lengua and chorizo, and these were not only super cheap but LOADED. Like i was full full after eating these. They come with the traditional onion/cilantro toppings but there are also some squeeze bottle sauces you can add to customize.I will be back they also have breakfast and plates like fried chicken!Oh brush up on your 9th grade Spanish because you'll need it

The place is good but what I didn't like is that the cashiers are not very friendly, they need to be more professional, there are long lines and they are talking or even eating there at the checkout, and they have made the decision to go somewhere else just for that reason.

The restaurant inside is a hidden treasure. They also have an ice cream and smoothies section.Best Mexican food around!

Great place to shop for food items to try that I didn't grow up with. There is food but I haven't tried it. That said it always looks and smells good and the people that are eating look very happy.

My favorite grocery in Louisville. Fresh meats and vegetable. Tasty pan dulce. And reasonable prices.

Tacos are fire. They definitely have the best tasting tortillas I've ever had. I assume they make them there.

This. Place. Is. Amazeballs.We didn't have anything in mind when we wandered in. I just wanted to get some onions and instead of getting them from Kroger, I decided to hop on in here and see what they had. O_O wowwwwBeautiful produces, beautiful meats, and beautiful people! We ended up getting goat meat, too, to make birria tacos and just wandered around. They have all types of meat cuts that you wouldn't be able to find at Kroger and doesn't cost you a leg and arm like Whole Foods. They even have a restaurant in there. I didn't try it but I will try it next time. It smelled so good.And they also have FRESH MADE TORTILLAS, too. If you're looking for good quality mexican ingredients and seasonings or just really good quality meat and produce in general, HIGHLY recommend checking out Guanajuato!

One of my favorite places ! The grocery store is magnificent great selections of things you can't find in other places ! Vegetables are always beautiful ! Great meat counter ! The restaurant can't be beat ! Everything I have ever eaten there has been fantastic ! They have an onion habanero garnish for the tacos and burritos ! Sometimes they have it sometimes they don't . I could eat here everyday . I wish they had the onion habanero everyday . Highly recommend this place . amos los Latinos

Food is amazing and well priced. The service is fast and reliable. And the ambiance is really nice
