This is the door delaminating
This is the dead roach. . Finally dead. It would not die. Seriously, it refused to die.
Metal lighting fixture over the bed separating from the wall.
Another view of the same
This is the gap between the air conditioner and the wall. During the day, you could see light from outside.

NO NO and NO. 0 stars! Dirty rooms, moldy and musty air.... This place is no way worth more than $25 a night. We spoke with a business owner nearby and asked his opinion later that night about it and he said "well, nobody's died there, so that's something"!The ceiling tiles were dropping, the disgusting dirt behind the bed mad me just want to leave ASAP.I wish we never had booked this place, don't make the same mistake!

This place is disgusting. Walked in and immediately called around for a different hotel to stay at. Comforters had burn holes from cigarettes in them. Dirt behind everything. No blankets. Matresses we're filthy- looked like they pulled them from dumpsters. Furniture was broken. I didn't even get to the bathroom. Smelled awful and made my clothes smell too. Asked for a refund that night and the woman said their policy is before 24 hours. Call in the morning for the Manager. We called and left a message for the manager. No call back. Then called again and she said the manager would be there in a half hour. I called back after 45 minutes and spoke to a man. I asked him for the manager And he said SHE wouldn't be there until the next morning. Neither spoke clear English. I demanded he refund everything (which was a mess because we were mischarged to begin with) and he said ok to the refund. His daughter Will call us back sometime when it's done. Just a huge headache and mess and too filthy for a living human being.

One word describes this place. Putrid! We checked in at 9 pm after driving since 4 am. My kids were exhausted. All other hotels in the area were booked. It is 2:30 am. I am so exhausted, but I can not sleep. The sheets are dirty, the shower is dirty, the floor is dirty, the toilet is dirty. What a Hell Hole. Do not stay here!

One star is generous for this place. The booking site showed really nice pictures of the Downtown Super Inn so we booked it for three nights. Run down wouldn't be so bad to deal with, but filthy is something else. Where do I start?* roaches. Not exaggerating, the one we killed was close to two inches long!! In fact, the manager even commented that it was a big bug. Other smaller roaches were running around as well.* the sheets were filthy and the bedspread had burn marks on it. No blankets, only a dirty sheet and a filthy comforter.* the non-smoking room we requested smelled like smoke so bad that my clothes smelled like I had a two pack a day habit. Did I mention the burn holes on the bedspread?* the lighting was so bad that it made the room darker when it was turned on.* the refrigerator smelled musty* the lighting fixture over the bed was separating from the wall.* the door in the bathroom was delaminating. . I'm sure that was home to the roach family. * the bathroom door stuck and had to be forcibly pushed in. * the air conditioning unit didn't even fit right. There was a hole next to the unit. You could see the outside. * there was a picture of a pool on the booking site. The booking site picture showed a beautiful, welcoming, relaxing pool area. The Downtown Super Inn reality was that the pool area had weeds growing through the cracked concrete around it. No water in the pool. * railroad tracks run behind the hotel. That would have been nice to know. * the front door had black electrical tape to seal the gaps.* paint and paper were peeling from around the air conditioning unit.* no microwave or coffee pot as advertised. Now that I think about it, that's probably a good thing. * there was a big table right outside the front door. Not sure why, but I believe it was probably where the microwave and coffee pot should have been.* we had cable!! On a tube tv. . With all the cables and cable box wires exposed. Some channels were hard to see because the picture kept rolling. * I also wish the booking site would have mentioned that they rent these rooms "by the week" . I feel for the people who have to live there. . I really do.* our "neighbors" seemed nice enough. They were partying outside their room, sitting on the tailgate of their pickup truck, drinking and enjoying their day. . . And they were still out there drinking when we finally packed up and left at 11:30 that evening. There was a bourbon event happening so every other place in Bardstown was booked solid. We were determined to sleep in our car if we couldn't find another place. We did find another very very clean hotel in the next town over that had rooms available. The manager of the Downtown Super Inn was very nice and understanding and refunded two of the three nights stay, but I simply in good conscience could not allow someone else to stumble upon this place without saying they weren't warned. We could have dealt with just about everything except for those damn roaches!!

Giving this place one star is being generous. My boyfriend and I attempted to stay here during the Bourbon Festival in Bardstown and we found it online and we couldn't find much information on it, I guess the name has recently changed from the Days Inn. We booked it and based on the price we knew it would be less than impressive. Apparently even at that our expectations were too high with what we walked into. The hotel room was the dirtiest place I have ever stepped foot into. There was hair all over the bathroom, which was so small you could barely fit in with the door closed. There were stains and dirt on the walls, the bathtub looked like it had never been cleaned since the place was opened. Not to mention there were stains on sheets. I'm honestly not even sure how they are still in business.

This place doesn't even deserve a half star! Nastiest place I've been in! I checked in at 11:30 p.m. April 28th 2015, not familiar with the place itself, just stayed because it was derby week and all the other hotels were booked (no wonder this one wasn't) I stayed for about an hour before finding stains all over the bed sheets, when I opened the mini fridge two cockroaches ran from underneath it. Immediately I grabbed my things and left the room! The woman working would not refund my money and told me if I came back she would call the cops. She was very rude, no intention of helping me at all. She says she is the manager and owner. They aren't American and barely speak English. She is trying to tell me that I did stay the night, when I clearly left within the hour, they have cameras so I know the footpaths can help me against my case. Not too mention there was a man outside harassing me and my 3 girlfriends that were with me. Bottom line, do not stay here!!!! It's disgusting and they are very rude! I never even got a receipt! I suggest anyone to take pictures of he room immediately as you enter, so that you have the proof you need in case you have to take them to small claims court which I am doing. I may have to pay more than $55 to get my money back I spent on the room but this woman needs to realize she cannot have people staying in a unsanitary room!! If you have kids, turn around and leave! Never look back! Rumors of drugs being sold there are circling around as well! It's very believable!! Don't waste your time!
