BEWARE - FOOD POISONING! Sunset Spirits sold us expired beer that caused illness upon consuming four of the beers. We looked at the dates on the cans, and they had been expired for 3+ months. My husband returned the beers and they said they would exchange them. They insisted my husband give them four beers out of the case that he had drank that made him ill. This place has certainly gone downhill since the new owners have taken over. We will not be giving them any more business.

Plenty of sour beer options.Plenty of chilled beers and so many wine options.Variety of bourbon, gins and vodka. Staff was helpful and listened to what I looking for.

Due to the events of the coronavirus virus in April I was looking for a safe way to purchase beer and didn't want to enter Kroger. Just isn't worth the risk to me. So enter Sunset Sprints......... now you can pull up to the side door and they will take your order and even place your purchase in your trunk. The workers were nice and helpful. This was a smooth deal and glad to find a better option.Now 07-18-20, the drive through option is no longer available.

I stopped into Sunset Spirits tonight for a beverage after swinging into Fistfull of Ale for dinner (it's a cool place). I had a quick look at their selection, and being a bourbon guy, they had a reasonable selection. I was looking for a quick cold one and didn't see what I was looking for on the cooler rack. Back in the cooler I saw some offerings that were not up front. Like any other liquor store I've been in, I pop into the cooler to see if they have what I was looking for. I was met by the shop tenant who rudely told me I was not allowed in the cooler. The guy didn't say I'm sorry or anything, I got the you need to get out of the cooler now approach. I'm not a big fan. After being rude as heck, as I was walking out the guy ask if he could help. I said no, I find another store to buy what I'm looking for. Once I got in the car the guy followed me out to the parking lot. I'm happy the wife drove off as I was opening the door to get out. I'm not sure what the issue was, maybe the dude was having a bad day. Either way, it was the one of the worst customer experiences I've had in my 54 years. FYI

I read the other review about "Safe Covid policies" with interest. I went there earlier in the pandemic (April or May 2020) for curbside and called on the phone. As I was talking on the phone from my car, they said "just come in". Seems they were not real serious about safety.Flash forward to December, 2020, at the height of new covid cases and deaths, I went into the store and none of the three employees were wearing masks. No safety procedures, nothing. And to drive home their point, they had a radio with the speaker facing customers at the checkout blaring Rush Limburger.I walked out and will never go back. I tried to support local in this case, only to have my health/life jeopardized. Beer's cheaper at Kroger anyway.
