Steak was not good. Tasted like it was steamed. Stick with sandwiches here!Also very slow getting our food. Sever was very friendly

Seated immediately around 10 am on a Saturday morning. Prompt service. We ordered a western omelette and The Works omelette. Food was out reasonably quick. These pictures do not show how bad it really was. The biscuits were so hard on the outside that they must have been made days ago. The western omelette had no tomato's and these were the flattest eggs I had ever witnessed. Brown and overdone. The works had the flat corners folded in and it had a good amount of stuffing and it was hot but although the menu did not say it included green peppers this one did. Oh I almost forgot hard fried potatoes that were so crunchy and dry they must have sat in the warmer a very long time. When the waitress returned we explained our situation and she immediately apologized for the food. Ask if we wanted anything else and we declined. Thanked her politely. She graciously took off the meals from our bill. While we were finishing up the table next to us was ordering breakfast. They both ordered omelettes. We waited to see what came out of the kitchen this time. To our surprise beautiful fluffy egg omelettes were served. When brought to the attention of Lexie L. ( our gracious and kind server) we spoke and she was super apologetic and said the cooks were usually very good etc etc. She insisted we wait a few minutes. We did and to our delight she came out of the kitchen with two fresh omelettes for us to take with us. It's too bad our first ones weren't this good or this review would be totally different. Anyway! Take your chances if you dare but if you do make sure you ask for Lexie L. She took great care of us!

I just can't say enough good about sunset and the new owners! They even brought back the best ribs I've ever had!

I've been coming to sunset for many years! I wanted to give a review now that the new owners have taken over.This place has potential. But still so much need for improvement.The menu offers a wide range of stuff.The $26 ribeye was subpar and regrettable.The mashed potatoes and fries were 10/10!!No AC. That was rough.The flies were SO BAD. We fought off 10-15 the entire time we ate.The servers still dress like they're sitting on a back deck at home in spaghetti strap tank tops and do not look hygienic. Not a professional or attractive attire for a server.Over all, 2/5 stars. Maybe it would be better if we tried something else. Someone else will have to be the judge of that.

This bar features everything you want and need. Home style BLTs and wings (chicken makes the best). Tara and Mackayla are the best servers with the greatest hospitality and caring nurture. They make sure you have everything you need in a timely manner. The bartenders never leave you empty handed as long as you give them approval. The food by Chicken does not DISSAPOINT. The food is phenomal. They offer the best ambiance. Games, food, drinks, service are phenomenal. There are times with new employees that aren't great but the owner is always around to correct it. You can't be upset in this bar and grill. They are great.

Stopped in for lunch. Wait staff was friendly, and attentive. The place definitely needs some updates, for example there was a huge hole in the deck. Overall, everyone in my family was pleasantly surprised with our food coming out of the kitchen! Wings and kids chicken tenders were great. We left satisfied.

Really nice restaurant. Set right on the river with more porch than interior space. Reasonable pricing $20 for entree and appetizer. Staff was nice and attentive. I had the river onion ( blooming onion)well within acceptable standards. Nice size for two. I had the liver and onions, portion could have been larger but it was well cooked and a pleasant surprise on the menu. Sides were mashed potatoes and green beans.....the green beans were excellent, like granny used to make and I still do. Service was a little slow but I wasn't in a hurry. Overall a really nice way to spend a Sunday. Food view and staff all were excellent.

If I could leave a no star review I would. New owners came in. And everything is horrible. Wouldn't recommend this place if it was the last place to eat on earth, if you leave a bad review on their Facebook page they get mad, delete your review and block you. Horrible people, will never get my money ever again.

Foods so good I'll have to go back soon. Love the new owners.To go food is so convenient

Service was terrible tonight! We didn't even get the food we ordered and what we did get was cold. Forget getting refills because you are lucky if you see your waitress twice. The bartender tonight was pounding drinks behind the bar, and drunkenly asked what they could do to improve the experience. They also charge you $5 to use a credit card now... that's the only change the new owners have implemented. Same. Old. Sunset. Hey Turtle has excellent service every visit with attentive staff and fresh food. Don't waste your money waiting at Sunset.
