The food here is great! And you get plenty of it! It's also a fun environment, especially when there's live music.

Sunset Grill and Marina: Five stars for a dining experience that's like a symphony for your taste buds. The seafood selection is so fresh that even the fish looks surprised to be there. The view? Well, let's just say it's the only place where I've seen a sunset and thought, "Wow, even the sun is showing off." Whether it's lunch, dinner, or a snack attack, Sunset Grill and Marina has earned its five-star status in my food-loving heart! Can't wait to come back this summer.

Look out! Herrington Lake has a real gem with Sunset Grill and Marina! Excellent food, the staff and management team are so welcoming and friendly, combined with the entertainment that is offered (live music, karaoke, etc)..... I just can't brag enough. I have never had a bad experience at Sunset and neither will you! If you are looking for food recommendations and also like fish.... Try the fried cod sandwich. Man, two fried filets that will melt in your mouth. Excellent.

We were disappointed that we didn't get to try it. Arrived at lake Sunday afternoon, went down to have dinner at 6:15, only to find that kitchen closes at 6 on Sunday. They're only open weekends, and we left on Friday. Couldn't find many places around the lake that were open during the week.

Great food. Beautiful location and friendly service. Will definitely be back. They have a really nice shoot as well with great clothes and all you will need for a day on the water. They rent pontoon boats, bug and small. Great place.

They are only open Friday evenings, Saturday's and part of Sunday's . We went on Friday at 6:00pm and ordered the all you can eat fried catfish with your choice of two sides for $12.99. The catfish was freshly fried in cornmeal and in strips . It was not greasy and was served piping hot. It had a wonderful taste, crispy cornmeal outside and tender white meat inside . My meal was excellent with only one complaint.... I did not care for their hush puppies . It had an odd bitter-sour taste. But with delicious catfish, hush puppies are not a priority in my book lol.

This is not an ideal place for a serious boater. The ramp is narrow and often blocked by debris and is almost always blocked by golf carts during boating season so that putting a boat in or taking it out is almost impossible. The parking lot is so jammed around the ramp that it makes it highly difficult to access the ramp.The slips supposedly offer water and electric but the electric to ours did not work. Worse yet, we pulled our boat out for repairs and came back to find a barge owned by the marina parked in our slip and we could not put our boat back in. All of this in spite of paying nearly $2,000 for an annual slip fee. Did not get even a half a year use as our slip was taken after paying upfront. There was no notification by the marina that they were confiscating our slip or to ask us if we were returning. Just had to pull our boat home and leave it during a beautiful late summer and fall. Just a highly disappointing experience.
