This review probably isn't fair but I am hoping that the owner or manager sees it and addresses the issue. I am in the market for a new recliner, not a big fan of shopping in person and especially not of high pressure sales tactics, so I generally take advantage of the research online. This being said, I had seen multiple commercials advertising a "moving sale". I highly doubt they were moving but thought it might signal good prices and open the door for negotiations. I am one of those people who refuse to pay full price unless absolutely necessary. So, I got on their website and looked at a few recliners. I then sent an email inquiring about the quality of the leather. I also asked what the cash price was for it. This was on July 30th; I NEVER received any response and the email did not "bounce back". It is obvious to me that they do not want to do any legwork to sell anything. Very disappointed because I really wanted a new chair. After checking other Suffs reviews, I will be shocked if I ever hear back from anybody. Sad, somebody could have made a nice sale as I was looking at both a Stickley rocker and Lazy Boy recliner.

This review is based on service alone. No purchase has been made yet. They were extremely knowledgeable and beyond patient. I am a "trying " customer to say the least, as I am consumed with indecision. They never once even hinted at being frustrated.

We were in the market for a new couch for our formal living room & decided to stop by here while shopping in the area. They carry many high quality name brands and had a good selection. They were running a sale for Black Friday and gave us the pricing a few days early on a La-Z-boy couch. The sales associate who helped us was friendly and knowledgeable and we were able to pick up our couch the next day, but local delivery is also available for $69. A great experience and happy to support a local business vs another big chain store.

My wife and I went furniture shopping for our eldest son. We went to several stores in the area and landed here at Suff's. The staff were very helpful in finding the areas of the store that fit the needs we were trying to meet for bed size and wood color. We found a very nice set that we especially liked and scheduled a time to return with our son to make a final decision. The quality of the furniture at this store is very good. You don't have to worry about press board furniture or components not being well assembled. Knowing your furniture store does not stock these kind of items gives you the piece of mind you want when making a large purchase.

Just bought a mattress and frame from them. They were so kind and helpful. It's a beautiful store with a great selection and when we wanted to see a mattress that wasn't on the floor they went straight to the warehouse to get it for us right then. The guys who delivered and set up the bed were great too. Also my kid lost my car keys in the store and the owner himself dropped everything to look for them. Will definitely be back.

First, let me start by saying,.. I work as a traveling NP, so I am not home often. I bought a home in 2020 and completely gutted it - then refinished it, so i needed someone to help me with refurnishing and designing the entire space. When I went to Suff's I was greeted by an amazing woman/designer whom assured me (even came to my house and surveyed each room/took measurements) that i was in good hands & my house would be beautiful. This was in March of 2022. I spent well over $10,000 (I think more like $15,000 at the store) on a leather couch, coffee table, & chairs. The couch was delivered a couple months later (completely understood-everything i on backorder) while I was away on an assignment. I got a call from a friend explaining the house-keeper found a large tear in the arm of the couch less than two weeks after delivery. The house keeper was not sure what happened. I wasn't too worried (I know I ALWAYS take out insurance when I buy leather products), so I immediately called and reported the damage to Suff's... as I owned it less than 1 month. To my amazement...I was told I had not bought insurance in this case (even though I 100% remember asking for it) and based on a few pics sent to the store...it was decided, by Suffs, that the tear was caused by my dog and it would NOT be covered under the manufacture warranty, either. I had to pay for the repair. Months later....June-July 2022 (after multiple calls and emails) the owner agrees to come out with a repairman for an estimate to have it fixed. I arranged to have someone at the house to let them in, the owner did not show up. The repairman reportedly said the tear did not appear to be from the dog- ( I imagine the child was jumping off the arm over the table and tore it), but Suff's did not entertain this at all (because it would've been covered under the warranty having happened less than1 month when it originally happened). Now 6 month later (i paid $300 for a piece of leather and $300 for the repair) to Suffs. I have called numerous times, sent multiple emails, left voicemails with nearly everyone in the co...Including the owner and they still have not contacted me about fixing the couch. There's always an excuse and some reason to blame me/anyone else for their incompetence. Needless to say, the designer fell through, too. Now I have a bunch of furniture, with no idea of her vision for its use. I have no idea where to start looking for someone else (I work in Alaska). This place is absolutely overpriced, unreliable, and dishonest at best. If you walk in and see something you like and don't care how much it cost... just need it delivered, with no expectation of warranty or service- This may be your place. If you're looking for a store to "become yours" for repeat business and advice, save your money...this place is a joke. I 100% believe you would a more authentic experience and better product guarantee from a cheaper chain like Rooms to Go, Overstock, Wayfair, or Ikea. This is not a store for me. I regret ever walking in it. I'll post updates and pics as soon as the couch gets fixed. Sincerely,Adrian Gray

My husband and I bought a couch and a recliner in December. When they delivered the them the couch had nails sticking out of 3 of the 4 feet. Scratched up our floor really bad. I took pictures and sent them to the sales woman that helped us. Talked to the woman that is charge of the deliveries and also talked to the owner. The owner said he would talk to the people that put the flooring in our house and see if they could do something to help fix or replace the messed up area. Never heard back from him.

Just got home from buying the world's most comfortable from Suffs. Ailene was very helpful, and they're delivering tomorrow. They will haul my old chair away and donate it. Can't beat that for service. And, I love buying from family owned businesses. Good experience all around.

I recently purchased a recliner from suffs. The customer service at the store was great!! The price was 100$ cheaper than any other local around lex. After a month or so I noticed the handle on the recliner was rubbing the side of the chair. I called the Nicholasville location and talked to dick s. Told him my issue, he was very polite and actually came to my house that same day. He resolved my issue. To sum it up go to suffs, if you want all around better service, prices, and store that does what they say there going to do!!!! Thanks
