Dying to beat the Kentucky heat (90° and a UV index of 9!) and this was the closest public pool to our hotel and really the only outdoor one we found with a quick search. I was not super impressed with the space, but it was cheap so I guess I can't complain too much. The biggest disappointment is that there is no deep water to swim in, the deepest part is about 4 foot and is a very small, crowded area. The part where the water slide dumps out is roped off for safety which is understandable, but this area could be smaller in my opinion so that there's more swimming area. Pros:- cheap, lots of chairs, 4 big umbrellas for shaded chairs (these obviously fill up fast), "cabanas" available for rent, very easy entry in and out of pool, lazy river and water slide, lazy river was perfect temp, several lifeguards on duty, not checking bags so you can easily bring in outside food and water, gave me the resident price even though I'm not a KY residentCons- no deep swimming area, only chairs are loungers - no regular chairs, main pool is ice cold and like not a refreshing cold - even on a 90° day, no enforcement of "kids take a 15 minute break every hour" rule, lots of small rocks around, lots of small trash and wrappers, long concession line, no reentry, kids jumping and flipping into other people Don't get here at 11:20 (they open at 11:30) and think you'll be quick to get in - we waited 45 minutes to get inside. One girl working, credit card reader would disconnect or was very slow, pretty inefficient. We were able to cool off, but I wouldn't come back - you're better off to stay at a hotel with a pool.

Water temperature was perfect!Slide was fun & fast. You get from top to bottom in about eight seconds.Loved the lazy river. They had single floats and doubles, which was awesome. Lifeguards were nice, but most didn't do anything. Several kids kept jumping/flipping in, nearly landing on others. Kids got back in the pool right after the mandatory break/adults only time, and nothing was said. This was annoying for the adults who wanted to relax a minute without being landed on or splashed, and for the parents who were making their children abide by the rules.

We're staying in Lexington, KY for a vacation and were looking for a place to get in the water and cool off for the day. This Kentucky heat is hot, and we were not about to be cooped up in a humid hotel pool room for the day. This place was the closest public pool to our hotel, and we liked it! (& i'm not a huge fan of going to public pools either). There's a lazy river, a water slide that leads into the actual pool, (yes there is a pool, people) and wading areas. Also a sprinkling area for kids. Lots of seating. This is not the kind of place where you expect to be entertained like you would at the Wisconsin Dells. It's a small, but large enough family friendly aquatic center to cool down and enjoy a break! Adult tickets are $7 and no re-entry allowed. We went to the pool prepared by not going on an empty stomach, and packed a cooler so that by the time we were done &hungry, we could eat out by the car. That was just fine! They do have small lockers you can rent for 50cents just to put your phones/wallets/valuables in which was very beneficial. Very inexpensive experience. I'd revisit again if ever in the area.

For the past couple of years I have enjoyed bringing my kids to this pool until today....I'm so disappointed in customer service there.Worst trip ever to Suffoletta Aquatic Center...worst customer service experience ever. We drove to the pool, sat our stuff in the chairs and they announced they were temporarily closing the pool. I figured we could leave and come back or get our money back and come back since they saw we had just gotten in. They refused anything. Talked to assistant manager about it she refused. We sat quietly for over 45 min waiting to get in. The girl checking in said no re-entry's and no exceptions. However, the employee allowed someone to go out and come back in. Angela made a comment to me about it and the employee butt in our conversation and started mouthing to us. She ended up calling management and they asked us to leave. No matter what they were not allowing us to get our money back even though we were only there for 2 minutes and never got in the pool. So I paid for a service we did not get. After they asked us to leave, the manager said if you weren't so disrespectful you would have gotten your money back. They weren't going to give us our money back from the beginning. They already told us. We tried to explain to the manager but she wouldn't listen, she said I'm done talking to you and turned and walked away. None of the employees would be quiet long enough to let us tell our story. Poor customer service...I will never step foot in that place again nor will my children. No one should be treated with disrespect like we did today.

This was a choice on impulse one day after looking around for something that might be more than just a pool. We were especially excited about the lazy river feature. It wasn't a bad price, I guess. We were somewhat surprised that, while there is a nice tall and fast water slide, and the lazy river, there isn't an actual swimming area beyond the shallow area that was 2-3-ft deep. So while we wanted more than a pool, we ironically got features but no pool. Staff was friendly.

The facility is clean, the price is fair ($7 for adults for an all-day pass), and the staff are friendly. My husband and I don't have kids, so we go to relax in the sun and enjoy the water. We were disappointed in a few things, though. First, there's a no re-entry rule. If you go back out those gates, no matter what the reason, it's $7 to get back in. So if you run out to the car to get something you forgot, you'd better be sure you have some money on you. Second, there's no actual POOL. There's a huge, very shallow area for small children, a lazy river, a big slide, but only a very small area deep enough for adults to swim or hang out in. This small area is usually too crowded with bigger kids to be relaxing. Also, there's a really cool splash pad, but adults aren't allowed on it. With Scott Co. being the largest growing area in the state, this place will soon become too small unless they add another pool with room for adults. If you have kids, they'll love it.

Very disappointed with this place. First of all, noodles and pool floats are not allowed. The splash pad area for kids is more like a "get sprayed directly in the face with high powered jets" area. Kids have to wear goggles or keep there eyes closed while in it. Kind of hard to play with your eyes closed. The floating river is nice when there are floats available. They definitely don't have enough. Or at least enough that aren't deflated. I didn't go down the slide because my kids are too young but the line would have been enough to deter me anyway. The bathroom was okay and I didn't try the concessions. The place is small for the crowd size too. Perhaps when they built it it met the city's needs but Georgetown is growing fast. Honestly, I would have preferred an old fashioned rectangular pool with deep end and diving board and a shallow kiddie pool for the little ones. Or perhaps Scott County can start building free splash pads in their parks, like so many other communities offer.
