This is a terrific program for folks aged 55 and up. It has made a fantastic difference in my life. I have so many things I want to do with my husband, family, and friends. Regular workouts focusing on strength, balance, stamina and so much more have increased my confidence and ability. Two doctors of physical therapy plan the workouts and provide modifications as needed. The StrongerLife community is truly unique. You should give it a try! You'll only be better, because of your decision to do something for YOU!

Every gym class I've ever taken was repetitive and I tended to get bored. That's not the case at StrongerLife. There's a different workout every day with specific goals, designed by PhD. physical therapists. You will be challenged but you won't be bored.

I've worked out off and on my entire adult life, Curves, YMCA, at home, on my own, (step aerobics videos and all). Lol. I've also had excellent personal trainers with 1 on 1 instruction. Stronger Life Fitness for 55+ is a different type of animal. Sure, walking in on that first day in January 2023 was intimidating, but it was interesting, I felt welcomed, and I saw results in how I looked and most of all FELT! starting year 2 this week. It's never too late to get started. I'd taken a 6 year plus break from working out before I joined!!! Thank goodness for the muscle memory I still had at 59! Come join us!

I'd never been particularly athletic, but as I aged (71 yrs now), I realized that if I wanted to age WELL rather than just morph into a wheelchair-bound slug, I needed to start taking things a little more seriously and start appreciating (way more) the good health I've always enjoyed by doing something to maintain it.A friend dragged me into StrongerLife 3 yrs ago and my life hasn't been the same since. I discovered things about myself that I wouldn't have dreamed were true: StrongerLife taught me that I'm (and, helped me become) strong, more flexible, capable of lowering blood pressure and blood sugar, more energetic, walk 2-4 miles a day with ease, improve bone density and mental acuity. There are options for every movement or exercise in the event you have an injury, or are post-surgery. StrongerLife is way, way more than a gym. It's a community with classes, events, individual coaching, challenges, workshops....and, a slew of professional, accredited coaches (the founders are both Doctors of Physical Therapy) who help us to be the best "old people" we can be. Turns out: StrongerLifers don't think of themselves as old anymore. Many of us (including me) feel we're living our best lives Right Now!We're vibrant, motivated, gain so much social interaction with good friends we've come to love so much. ALL of these things are making my "golden years" gloriously enjoyable. I hope you'll give StrongerLife a try! By the way: A group of us walk every Wednesday morning at 9am throughout the Kenwick neighborhood. You don't have to be a member of Strongerlife to join us, so....JOIN US!! We walk two miles, then retire to Kenwick Table for tea, coffee, croissants, muffins and excellent camaraderie. Make StrongerLife part of YOUR life!

I joined Stronger Life last October and am very pleased with my coaches and the progress I have made so far. Working out with people in my age group and with some of the same aging issues makes a huge difference. We have so much fun and we support each other. Since attending the afternoon Rise sessions, I am able to climb stairs at the University of Kentucky carrying my backpack with ease. This was not the case when classes started last semester. Goal one met in a short time. Thank you Stronger Life!

I joined Stonger Life a year ago and I couldn't be happier. I have always been very physically active, but at my previous boot camp style gym, I was dealing with one injury after another. I found Stronger Life, a gym for 55 and over and owned by 2 Dr.'s of physical therapy. I was at first concerned the workouts would be too easy for me, but there are so many modifications and harder versions of the exercises, my concerns were quickly abolished and I have now been working out for a year and no new injuries. The unique open community format is above and beyond any other gyms I have been a member of. I have found my gym home.

I found StrongerLife Fitness back in February of 2020. I have never felt so healthy and strong as I do with Dustin, Jeff and Amy coaching. As Doctors of Physical Therapy, Dustin and Jeff can modify around any issues and strengthen weaknesses. The program challenges you and is never boring. I have belonged to lots of gyms in my life. And now that I am no longer a spring chicken but still have a life to live, I wanted a gym that was not full of young people impressing each other or talking on phones. I also wanted a gym with coaching and work not done on machines.StrongerLife is it. You must be 50 or older. The classes are designed and taught by doctors of physical therapy with an emphasis on strength and balance for everyday activities. It's hard, hard work, but the payoff is tremendous. And the camaraderie is fabulous.I go every day, I like it so much.
