Stagger Inn

It's a basement. Sweaty, confusing, and unfriendly layout to actually get around. Drinks are subpar.

College. Dive. Bar! Loud music. Sticky tables. Line dancing. Beer pong? Cheap drinks. College. Dive. Bar!

Great spot for live (country) music in downtown Lexington. The bartenders were super attentive even though it was pretty packed. It seems to be a younger, college crowd since it's so close to UK. We were probably the oldest people in there besides the band. Regardless, we had a good time. Parking is located across the street in the parking garage.

If zero stars were a thing stagger inn is the definition. Worst bar in Lexington ky by far. Gross environment and crappy workers. Also the bouncer is a ().

Came in from PBR after party I would suggest the owner to call me about a rude unprofessional bartender named chase or chance.

This is not a working man's bar. At 430 on a Tuesday 2 Miller lites were $10 bucks..i mean come on. Bartender was nice.. yeah that's it.

Stagger Inn just really isn't my favorite bar. My experiences here have been fine, nothing terrible happened, but I don't really love the atmosphere or have a good time when I'm here. It's a bar on the lower level of a large downtown building, so it has a dark basement feel to me. They do have a patio, but I've never hung out in that area. It's really country, which just isn't my scene. And they have plenty of TV's to watch sports, but outside of a few college basketball games that really isn't my thing either. Though, I can see the draw for a lot of college students going out in the area since they're at UK nearby. If you're looking for live music though, this spot often has it. Again, it's a fairly country scene, so that's likely what they'll be playing, but if that's what you're looking for this spot could be for you!

Tonight I tried to introduce my cousin who had just turned 21 to Stagger Inn, and we were appalled at the disrespect that we were greeted with. I've been to this establishment often and was hoping to introduce him to one of my favorite bars. Unfortunately, we were not only denied entry and not given a clear answer as to why, but also called "faggots" and told to get on treadmills. This interaction has absolutely discouraged me from ever bringing me or my friends back. We were made aware that this employee is still in training, and I would hope that this homophobic discrimination would not be characteristics of someone that would represent Stagger Inn.

Now 23 out of 28 reviews consist of 1 start for 1 reason. It's been said. A place you can't even put your feet on the floor. If you get a chance to. Your feet will stick to it. Good luck seeing it, dark. Would you even try food from a place like that?
