Spendthrift Farm

Attended a film shoot at Spendthrift Farm. Have had many visits there, but enjoyed seeing it as part of the action. Will look forward to seeing how it turns out.74

Did a 11am tour of the farm this morning. It was so beautiful! The tour starts at the stunning new welcome center where you watch two fantastic videos about the farms history. Then you set out on a shuttle to tour the farm grounds. The tour we did let us meet the mares and foals. I loved getting to pet the horses and their babies, they were adorable! Love that it was a hands on tour. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and kind. After the tour we did a little shopping at the gift shop which had a great selection. Then we took some family pictures by the statue of the one and only Malibu Moon. It was a great way to start the day.

First time visiting a Thoroughbred Farm and wow , it is gorgeous! We toured the Stallion barn and breeding barn. Our tour guide , Kendall, was great. She had incredible knowledge and educated us about the horses and history of the farm. We would love to visit again!

Kendall was an amazing tour guide. She had tremendous knowledge of the working of the breeding industry and the history of the horses, I would highly recommend the tour.

Beautiful afternoon at Spendthrift Farms today, visiting here from California, took the tour with our tour guide Kendall, she was amazing, her knowledge of the racing industry was incredible and her enthusiasm was contagious, I would highly recommend taking the tour.

I loved learning about the history of this iconic farm, from their tour guides. It was easy to locate, parking was very good, and the grounds were stunning. Even though it was drizzling when I went, the farm was so peaceful and serene. I didn't even notice the rain, after a while.
