Smoke Shack Bbq

I love trying different BBQ places whenever I can. I usually get ribs-so thats what I got. The smoked ribs were tender, but didn't "fall off the bone" which I'm completely ok with. I was told there wasn't really any dry rub or spices applied before smoking. I wasn't impressed by the bbq sauce (tomato based) as it tasted like store bought sauce to me. I got a whole rack-I ate the first half with their sauce. The next day I sauced them up extra with my choice, and warmed in the oven-then under the broiler. The ribs were still tender! Give this place a try

Best bbq in town love all of the options you can get from anything you want being mild or sprinkled with spice or dipped for hot this is amazing bbq

The BBQ is very good, the vinegar coleslaw is great, the baked beans are runny, and not so good, there is next to no room to set down, so expect to eat in your car, or take it home.

Great vinegar based bbq. Portions are huge! I had the tenderloin dinner, so much food! The meat was tender and moist, perfect smoke flavor. The slaw tasted homemade! The potato salad was also excellent.

Vinegar based barbecue instead of the tomato based I am used to, but it was excellent. The ribs were smoky and tender. Pulled pork was delicious, and all side dishes were fantastic. Cheaper than they should have been too!Two tables totaling five chairs inside.

We stopped by yesterday and bought 1lb of pulled pork. As stated on the menu 1lb $9.00. Now don't get me wrong, the meat was truly wood smoked and very tasty. However, you do not get 1lb. We weighed it on our digital scale and we got 9oz. But was charged the price of $9.00. We called and spoke with the manager. After much hem and hawing he said well maybe their scale is off and it was a 16 oz cup. There is a difference between liquid measurements and solids. No offer was made to reimburse or be given more to make up the difference. We really hate it because it really is good barbeque.

The half chicken plate is my favorite! I just wish they were open all week! It never fails that when I want it they are closed.

Portions for multiple days or a miserable evening Quick Scottsville has two bbq places (tooleys) And both are better than every place in surrounding counties bg franklin even Russellville if u want good bbq it's a shame you got to go to scottsville.. good job guys

Hit and miss ... Some days nice soft smoked ribs ... other days shoe leather .. even the apps ...one employee makes it one way another does it be different...
