I've been a customer for 2 seasons now, there have been a few minor miscommunications, mostly based on me being new to having a pool. I also think if you go into Skipper's with a pleasant and reasonable attitude you will receive that in return. I've had weekly, biweekly, opening and closing services. I've had 2-3 trouble/service calls. I think the front office and pool service staff have all been really kind, hardworking people. Most of our business in the beginning was also impacted by Covid/shortages and staffing challenges. I felt they were always upfront, apologetic and honest about the status of things.I've witnessed a ton of customers coming in and getting very unreasonable and often not even listening when the staff is trying to help them.Most of these reviews are really old. Skippers is not that bad!

This business is not professional At all. We went in there to ask questions about their pools such as: types, prices, how the are put in , etc. The lady was rude and just gave us handouts. We tried to ask questions and she just keep referring to the handout. No helpful at all and she was rude, thought she was better and just awful. We were prepared to by a pool knowing it probably would take time to have it put in. But I will never buy anything from them or send people their way. It's just disgraceful how she acted. DON'T GO THERE FOR A POOL.

I called at 4:45 pm about a 30ft pool lady quoted me $5,900.00, I asked about paying for it then she told me to wait until first thing in the morning. I call back up there next morning another lady told me it sold that night for 5,510.00 someone paid for it. So I asked the lady about the 27ft pool she tells me 4,900 dollars plus tax which would equal out to the same price as the 30ft pool. I asked her if she could do any better she was very rude told me if I want a pool that's my option and hung up on me. I called back they hung up on me 2 additional times. Worst service I have ever had.

the people at skippers that answer the phone need to learn how to take to people and give them a reasonable answer open our pool yesterday and nothing done to it said they would have to come back left no date or time when they would be back call the next morning to fine out and got a run around about it and no answer

We absolutely love our pool!! Skippers Pool staff installed our pool perfectly. Aaron did an excellent job of being a resource person as we had lots of questions . I am glad that we bought local. I would recommend Skippers for your next pool!!!!

After Pools Plus closed I went to them for an estimate on replacing my Doughboy liner. They wanted to charge me 868.00 whereas All American Pool is only charging 749.95. I asked her why theirs was so much as she said it was because All American keeps their liners in stock. I told her that wasn't true and that they had to order mine so then she came up with the excuse that she didn't know how they were selling them so cheap because they couldn't even get theirs that cheap. They are a local business price gouging is what they are doing. This is not the first time we have had issues with them. They charged us for opening our pool and charged for chemicals never put in and my husband was here and watched them. I will never ever use them again! I will stick with Watsons and All American Pool for whatever we need!!!

Terrible service from Skippers. No-shows all the time. Bids and estimates totally under estimated and not informed of increased charges until after the work was done and surprise invoice received. Just awful, zero professionalism and work ethics. Skipper made an appointment to come to my house on Monday 9 September 2014 to fix the pump and clear up the water with chemicals but instead was a total NO SHOW. NO PHONE CALL and NO EMAIL. He also told me on the phone he would be there Monday. My tenant stayed home from work waiting for Skipper all day. No bueno Skipper.

We had been customers with them for several years and have actually referred several pool and hot tub owners to them, but had an issue and were treated with incredible rudeness. If we could leave zero stars we would. Owner/mgmt EXTREMELY RUDE. We would close our pool and hot tub down permanently before using them again.
