So happy to run into the local coffee shop while shopping! We were treated to fantastic service and my iced lavender latte was delicious. I'd definitely order it again. My friend and I also enjoyed shopping their shelves of books, pottery, cups and other items. I got an adorable pin to add to my backpack. Some seating inside in the front window.

When in Shelbyville I will stop by to pick up a cup of coffee here. Service was polite and the coffee was very hot and good. It's a small shop with a nice atmosphere and in the heart of downtown. I can't remember how long this coffee shop has been open but it's a welcome addition to the area.

Looking for something outside the chain? Cute and cozy? Sixth and Main downtown is your spot. Filled with books, art and comfy chairs, this place will scratch your eclectic itch. The coffee beans must be top notch because the Americano and latte were delicious. I even found a little table near an outlet for my computer.

This is by far one of my favorite local coffee shops in all of Kentucky. My friends, my husband, and I all frequent this coffee shop often. It has THE best tasting coffee in all of Shelbyville. But they also have a lot of fun & different drinks that aren't at the typical Starbucks type of coffee shop. Some of my favorite drinks so far are the Autumn Harvest Latte & the Caramello. But I haven't had a bad drink here ever! I highly suggest this coffee shop if you are ever in the area- you will not be disappointed! And it's always awesome to support a local company.

Sixth and Main Coffeehouse was on my list to check out in the Shelbyville area, so I was excited to have the opportunity to visit recently before meeting a friend in the area for dinner. I had a Zoom call scheduled, and I was on a tight deadline, so I had to run into the coffee shop, set my computer up, and order quickly (and while on the telephone), to keep my work day going. Unfortunately, I had a really bad experience during my visit, which I really hated since I had been wanting to visit here for a while. First, I was met with hostility. I was the only person in the shop, so I wasn't disturbing anyone by being on a Zoom call, and I made sure to select a spot as far into a corner as I could and I kept my speakers on mute, and I was very quite on the telephone when I did speak (which was very rare), but the barista acted very cold to me, as if I were a complete asshole for coming into the shop and working/being on the telephone. I mean, it's a coffee shop, isn't it meant for folks to co-work if wanted? When my coffee was ready she slammed it on the counter and yelled, "Here's your drink!" No smile, no "you're welcome" to my thank you, just really rude behavior. (And yes, I was extremely friendly and I tipped when I ordered, so there was no reason for her to be so cold to me.) Secondly, the coffee was not good. I ordered a mocha, and simply did not enjoy it. It was a bit chalky, and the flavor was not enjoyable. It was strange, almost a bitter sweet flavor, and I did not come close to finishing it. Finally, some folks did come in to grab coffee while I was there, I think three different groups of people throughout the time I was there. They all ordered, grabbed their drinks, and left; but, each visit was extremely loud. I'm not sure if these were regulars and they knew the barista really well, or if this spot is just always like this for some reason, but it's definitely not a good place to attempt to work. There was lots of yelling and very loud laughing, just completely unnecessary for such a small space. It's almost as if seeing me on my telephone/computer made people want to be disruptive. I worked through my Zoom call, and left the shop as quickly as I could after snapping some photos. The space is actually cute, but there isn't much seating, and the comfy chairs in the back were completely surrounded by flies, because the back door was open. So, while the sun and slight breeze from the door were nice, they really need to get something in there to deter bugs from coming in. Overall, based on this experience, I would not recommend this shop, and I have no plans to return.

It's such a cute little coffee shop in a historic district. I prefer them over Starbucks! All I need now is them to get the banana syrup again for my banana lattes!!!! (PLEASE)

Driving between Lexington and Louisville I was feeling the need for a coffee. As to my usual I searched for a small mom & pop shop. Found this one. Shop is nice and quiet...maybe too quite since there were no customers at all, should have made me rethink my option.I ordered my normal Cortado. Received a lattè in a small cup. Way to much milk and it was over steamed and kinda nasty. Take a moment and check out some YouTube videos on how to make the drink. If you can't make it properly remove it from the menu. Need some practice in steaming milk too. If you find yourself between the two cities or I. Shelbyville...keep on driving and skip this shop.
