Sip Downtown Brasserie

This was an interesting spot. The restaurant itself was gorgeous and the food menu looked delish. We talked with the bartender for a few minutes and ordered drinks. We were 2 of 7 people in there-and clearly the others were regulars. (I get that). We originally were going to order another drink but couldn't get the bartender's attention.

Simply the best wine, bourbon and food! Great staff and relaxing environment! Not to be missed!

Amazing selection of wine and whiskey. Amazing appetizers. We never make it to the main course! We also had great service tonight... When our waitress got too busy she would tag in the bartender to check on us and between the two of them they did a great job. You need to try the whipped feta.

Honestly I absolutely love this place; I keep convincing myself to go determined to get better service and I never do. The food is wonderful. They have awesome cheese platters for those looking for an appetizer and a nice variety of cheese options. They have some an awesome atmosphere. My absolute favorite is the fact you can get wine and whiskey flights. They even are willing to let you substitute wines - and the wine selection is impressive, especially for a small place like Huntington. I love the options here! Unfortunately, every time I go here the service is not just bad but horrible - one star. Last time I went, it was solely my friend and I, and we sat at the bar. The waitress never acknowledged us, and continues to gossip with the couple next to us for at least fifteen minutes. Finally, she came over and said, I'll be with you all in just a moment, went over to another table, grabbed their order before coming back to our seats. Finally! Our turn - she takes our order, and says she's going to go make rounds on another table before making our two flights. Forty minutes later, we have our amazing wine flights. Was it worth the wait, absolutely. But I truly am unhappy with the experience. This same situation has happened to me on at least three other occasions. Moral of the story: come here for a 5 star wine and food menu, and 1 star customer experience. It's totally worth it if you have time to kill.

I cannot think of enough superlatives to describe this place! It is beautiful inside--sleek and classy. The food is divine, and the whiskey selection is top notch. My favorite place in all of Huntington and Charleston combined. Charleston has nothing like this. It's just what we needed.

Wine bar meets Cheers. SIP is one of our go to restaurants in Huntington. Great selection of wine, whiskeys and cocktails. The food is consistently delicious. Service is always friendly. Whether you are looking for an appetizer and a cocktail or a delicious dinner with wine SIP is a great spot.

Amazing fine dining food. Comfortable laid back atmosphere. Huge wine and whiskey options including flights. Feel like I could order anything and it would be good. Service was great with friendly staff. Portions are smaller than other places so enough to fill you up if u get an app and entree but not stuff you.

Great food, wonderful wine selection, fun atmosphere. Outside spaces are very comfortable!

Ordered the steak medallions. Good portion is absolutely ridiculous and tiny. Serving sizes are way to small for the price they charge. Do not recommend.
