My favorite go-to spot with my pup. Plenty of green spaces, trails, and parking spots for you and for your friends and family to come over! I love bringing my hiking chair and my pup's toys here to hang out and play fetch with him.

Very fun park for the family! Took my threenager to the playground and we had a blast. I appreciated how big the playground was and it had a ton of fun things to keep the kiddos entertained. There were bridges, rock climbing wall, "secret" pathways for kids, etc. We easily spent 2 hours playing. Although we didn't explore the rest of the park, we are excited to do so at another time!

We love this park! When the weather is warm and our girl is in need of burning some energy, we always bring her here to play.

There is a lot to like about this park! The playground is fun and more unique than many others, the running trail is a generous length, and there are many sports options (tennis courts, basketball courts, a volleyball net, baseball fields, etc.). It can get overcrowded at times, and there are some summer programs and schools that bring groups of big kids to the playground who are REALLY rough with the equipment and make it dangerous for younger kids, which is extremely inconsiderate. I know that the parks department isn't at "fault" for this, but it does make the park less enjoyable overall for me (as a mother of young children).

176 acres of park located just behind Fayette Mall! It boasts 8 Baseball/Softball fields, 2 Basketball Courts, 4 soccer fields, Disc Golf, 13 Tennis courts, 6 shelters, a wide-paved waking/running path, open fields, restrooms and a swimming pool! The walk/run path has been a nice addition in the past few years. We've primarily visited for the "creative" playground, which you can also find a similar one at Jacobson Park. My son loves this location because trains often pass nearby.

Awesome park for kids. The wooden castle/maze like playground structure is awesome. Our son could play there for hours. This is also one of the best shaded parks we have seen, so a great place to go with kids in the hot summer months. We try to have a picnic and play here once a week/ever other week. The park is pretty large and a decent crowd is always there. We have always felt safe and it is pretty clean from the times we have been there.

Great park to play pick up basketball. I have visited this park throughout my entire life! My girlfriend, dog and I go once a week or more. I play basketball and she goes on a run/walk with the dog. The park also has a nice frisbee golf course.

An all around nice park. The disc golf corse is simple enough to not frustrate beginners, yet still has a few challenges for those who have been playing for a while. It's well thought out, no overly long walks between baskets and the next tees, however the signs are awful. Finding the next tee isn't always an easy task, neither is figuring out which basket is next. The map helps, but a few signs would be a great addition.

Nothing to complain about with Shillito in my opinion. Play tennis?! Lots of courts! My old stomping ground. Love Shillito Park!
