Seven Cocktails + Bourbon

Went by on a Saturday for drinks. There were two seats at the far end of the bar. Was quite a show watching the bartenders make cocktails. They came around quick to get our order- we weren't even ready! Service was fantastic and drinks did not take an eternity, like most craft places. I saw a rum cocktail with pear juice but wanted scotch instead. The bartender offered to make a cocktail for me in that vein. It was delicious! So these guys know what they're doing because they can make things on the fly. We had a couple more but the plan was to get dinner at 8 so we could not stay forever. We were in and out in less than two hours, and it was not a pain to get our check. Uber picked us up right out front. Drink menu is extensive. Would love to come back. Was a great time.

Such a cool, moody ambiance in this cocktail bar. I felt like I was in a cozy library or something. Cocktails were great and the vibes were better.

I was in town for work and looking for a walkable location for after dinner drinks. I really enjoyed this place. The bartenders were very knowledgeable and answered questions about the different tastes of the liquors. They recommended the best substitutes. The name of the restaurant on the ice was a nice touch.

The ambiance here is fantastic--perfect for a relaxed night out or a celebration. However, the drinks come at a steep price. I tried the smoked Old Fashioned, and while the presentation was impressive (complete with fancy laser-engraved ice), the $17 price tag felt a bit excessive. It was a fun experience, but next time, I'd probably stick to something less gimmicky.

Went for the first time and enjoyed a margarita and the bbq wings & lemon pepper with an avocado dressing very good & tasteful.Service great and the Ambiance awesome.

Very cool spot in NuLu. Cocktails are top notch. Service is friendly and helpful in guiding you to good selections. Atmosphere is the best feature to me, really, as it's overall pretty chill but still vibrant. Highly recommend it.

My husband and I came here for after dinner drinks. We came a little early on Friday evening, around 6-7 pm, and had plenty of seating options. We opted to sit at the bar so we could watch them mix drinks while we chatted. The inside is smaller with soft lights, which I really liked. While sitting at the bar, we got great service. The bartenders tend to switch out quite a bit which was interesting but we enjoyed having multiple people make our drinks throughout the evening. We also ordered the cheesecake which was a good addition to our after dinner drinks! We will definitely be back here to try out new drinks and hang out.

All 5 of these stars are for the drinks, ambiance and service. This is a cute spot in NULU which hits 100% on these three criteria - trendy, dark and moody vibe + great bartenders + amazing drinks. We stopped for a drink at the bar and had the Number One Old Fashioned (amazing) and the Smoked and Soured for You (delightful). We also ordered food - and that was a little lackluster (very small portions... the jury is out on the mission of the ceviche), but if you are looking for some of the best drinks around (before or after dinner) - this is your spot!

Came here as I was perusing NuLu area. It's definitely a more high end spot and not a casual place. A nice upscale lounge. The drinks are a bit pricey but pretty good. The service is awesome and the bartenders are always so nice. I've ordered the margarita and believe it or not it was crystal clear! But tasted delicious! I also the got the watermelon sugar and it's name rings very true. This drunk is very sweet! Reminded me of a watermelon jolly rancher but sweeter. Lol overall I enjoyed but won't be a frequent spot. I can see tourists enjoying the experience more than locals. A nice upscale addition to NuLu though!

The bartender Pat was amazing! Such a great mind on bourbon and was very courteous and respectful when bringing us drinks. I've never had someone at a bar be so personable and match the vibe of a group. The bar itself has a very romantic but casual atmosphere, not to mention their awesome selection on allocated products including this 33 year whiskey recommended by our host. Highly recommend this place and ask for Pat! Probably the most hospitable bartender in Louisville.
