Sergio's Cucina Italiana & Steaks

I am extremely disappointed with my experience TRYING to visit Sergio's in Hurricane. We had family in town for a funeral and wanted to bring everyone to a restaurant, but our interaction with the staff was beyond unacceptable.When I called to ask about getting a table ready, I also asked about parking options around the restaurant, as I was driving with kids in the car and couldn't check their website. Instead of offering assistance, the hostess was extremely rude and told me the information was on their website. She accused me of being a prank caller and hung up on me!This behavior was shocking and unprofessional, especially for a place with such great reviews. I later found out the person who spoke to me was the general manager--this is deeply concerning. It's a shame, as I was genuinely looking forward to dining here, but this experience has left a bad impression. If this is how customers are treated, Sergio's is on its way to losing business.

Food was very good. Staff very friendly. Salad watery in the bowl and bread needs garlic butter or seasoning. The Fountain Coke was very good. Too full for desserts. Portion size was large. Husband ate the Fontana it was fettuccine with meatballs,Italian sausage,chicken and pomodoro sauce. Mine was manicotti with pomodoro sauce. We will definitely go again

Stopped into Sergio's Cucina Italiana & Pizza's Charleston location for lunch. This was our first time trying it. I ordered the Meatball Sliders (appetizer) for my meal, and the hubs ordered the shrimp Alfredo with potato soup as his side. The food was absolutely AMAZING! Our server was nice, friendly, and attentive. The place was clen. Portions were generous. We will definitely be back!!! Ambiance was inviting

Good service and great food!! I got the tortellini with chicken and it was delicious! Their caesar salad is also a good choice

Wow! I have had the Italian Salmon, & Parmesan Risotto 3 to 4 times now. They have been excellent every time. The house salad was nice and crispy fresh, w/tomato & black olives. The service has been very good as well. My wife and I split a piece of tiramisu today for Father's Day. It was the best tiramisu that I've ever had. Don't eat it all though! Save some for me!

I never knew that a new restaurant would hit it out of the park after one month, but this place did.From the friendly service to the quality of the food, Sergio's is an exciting new restaurant that Charleston needs. The menu is diverse the servings are plentiful. We have been twice and always have to get a to-go-bag.I recommend reservations because the place fills up fast.Another locally owned restaurant that needs our support!!!Manga!!!!!

We went early in the day. Food was plentiful and delicious. Service was exceptional, so good that we tipped 30%.

Hurricane, WV Location (September 2024): 5 StarsFood was Fabulous! I ordered the meat lasagne. The lasagne had a good amount of meat sauce and it was a large sized portion. My spouse ordered the Salmon and asparagus, and he indicated it was very good. My friend ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and she really liked it. Her spouse ordered Italian sausage with four cheeses and pasta dish; he devoured it - it was extremely good he exclaimed. All of us had House Salads which were very fresh with crispy veggies. Service was outstanding, and the restaurant was clean and cool indoors.Earlier in the year we tried the newer Sergios -Charleston, WV - West End (June 2024): 4 StarsThe waiter who served us was exceptional and provided us with breadsticks upon seating us.My spouse and I each ordered the 10 oz size pizzas; mine was pepperoni his Italian sausage. The pizza dough was too thick, and there was not enough sauce for the thickness of the dough. My spouse's pizza had plenty of ingredients; mine had 5 slices of pepperoni on the entire pizza which I cut into 4 slices. We also shared the Antipasto salad and this was very good and plentiful.It was horribly hot the day my spouse and I visited, and unfortunately we were seated near the oven area and could feel the heat of the oven each time it was opened. The restaurant was not yet cool inside, or the restaurant may have had air conditioning issues the day we visited. We needed at least three refills of water and luckily our waiter was very gracious and refilled our sodas and water glasses with a smile. I would not retry the smaller sized pizzas again, but I will retry this location another time in the future to give this location another shot.

I really wish this was the quality steak house that is implied but it's just short of terrible. There is no ambience of that of an upscale restaurant and the food is just not very good. We've tried four times going back since they first opened, hoping that they would improve. Tonight we ordered two meals for pick up for $70. I ordered the 12 oz ribeye, a loaded baked potato, and asparagus. The steak was supposed to be cooked medium but it was raw and cold. It literally had been seared and not cooked. Most of the steak was fat and gristle. I'm guessing maybe 4-6 oz of actual meat. The potato was cold and hard with hardly any toppings. The asparagus was okay but a very small serving. Although we arrived to pick the food up at the time we were told it would be ready, everything was cold. The staff are friendly but this place has a lot of improving to do. You can walk in and immediately tell that it is more of a dive hole in the wall rather than a place for a romantic dinner or classy setting. I am so disappointed and won't be returning.

Lobster shrimp ravioli. Alfredo sauce is spot on. Raspberry lemon drink was awesome. Lemon creme cake out of this world. Waitstaff wonderful. I'm gonna get fat.
