ScreamPark is one of those haunts thats worth the drive to.It's located in an old warehouse that ups its creep factor. There are currently 3 different attractions as well as roaming characters inside and out. The lines and everything are located indoors, which makes it nice on chilly nights. There are dance lights and lasers as well as music videos and the likes playing so theres plenty of entertainment while you wait. You can also enjoy a snack bar which is nice. The first attraction you should hit is The Abyss. Its just that, a dark scary nothingness. Literally. Its a near pitch black maze. I'm not sure how the characters can even see you but they pop out of nowhere! Just kinda creepy really. Next is Castle of Fear. Now this one is just awesome! The theming is just... wow! Theres mist and medevial looking walls and statues and even suits of armor! The really cool thing is that they have some sort of sense things in there to make it even smell authentic! It smells dank and musty throughout and when you walk into a graveyard/courtyard its smells like pine needles and dirt, but that could be the real dirt on the ground. I found out later that the dirt actually came from a graveyard which made it even creepier and got a plus for authenticity!Last but not even near least is Insanity: Chaos Attraction. This is not your typical strobe and chainlink maze. Its themed to a hospital of sorts, on the verge of a mental institute. Some actors literally hang and run around in the rafters! Demented degree holding doctors want to run experiments on you with theassive amounts of chemicals scattered throughout. Theres all sorts of little surprises littered throughout as you get turned around in multiple dead ends. A great place to hang out on an October night with great actors. They seem to have a lot of fun and lnow what they're doing. Like I said earlier, totally worth the drive to Lexington.

I like a lot of scares. I like consistency.I like Screampark. I've gone for the last 2 years and had a good time. The price for the scares and the experience is appropriate.

Due to the "Management's" decisions on certain things, I will no longer be going to Screampark until certain actions are taken.

The 2012 ScreamPark was better than years' past. Definitely willing to go again. If you can get your hands on Jack Wallen's book, ScreamPark, read it prior to going to ramp up the creepy factor!

Awful, just awful. My family and I went the first year, in 2009, and it was okay, pretty sure the setting made it creepier than anything. The actors were decent, the makeup was okay, seemed to be holding up well, and the scenes and everything were decent. It was good for a first year haunt, and we thought that it could only go up. 2010, we missed, but we came back in 2011...and something had completely changed the entire feel of the place. The acting was lax, the makeup seemed to be peeling off their faces which made the scenes lose their appeal. The scene set up and design was probably the only thing worth going for. I can honestly say my family and I are not going back next year unless serious changes are made.Note to the owners: While I appreciate you responding to my comment, you cannot please all of the people all of the time. Accept the criticism and move on, stop trying to convince those that give you a bad review to come back and "give you a second chance". If we want to give it a second chance, we will, regardless of your pleas.

if i could give this lower than one star i would. i went the first year and it was good, not to scary but it was aright. second year it was shit. it was like they grabbed anyone off the street and used them as actors which is basicaly what they did. the sets and stuff are real good and have alot of detail but the actors basicaly scream in your face every time you turn around. lame. my gf is scared of everything and when i took her the second year she only jumped like 3 times. if you wanna waste your money go to scream park!
