What a great place! I've driven by for months and finally decided to stop. Now I stop frequently. They have a rotation of mark down beers & wine, so if there's something you like, you better stock up the first time!

Super friendly local liquor store that has been in Deer Park forever. The workers are very friendly and helpful, and they have a large selection of liquor, wine, and beer! We have been going here for years and will continue to do so!

I've driven by Schreck's Baxter Liquors so many times, but I had never stopped in.. that is until last week. I was driving by, and I knew I needed to grab a bottle of wine, so I decided to finally check out the $3.99 options they always have posted on their sign. This shop is very small. But, they have quite a lot of selection, especially of wine. They did have a decently sized $3.99 section, but most of what was offered wasn't anything I would actually want, so that explains the pricing. I was able to find a rose for $3.99 though, and I grabbed that, because I like rose, and to be honest I liked the label. It turns out that I didn't end up needing the bottle for what I had originally purcahsed it for though, so I have yet to try it, but it's chilling in my fridge for future use. If you're in the area and need to pick up a bottle of something, especially if you're looking for something reasonably priced, this seems like a fine place to do it.

This is, like, the Madison Square Garden of closeout liquor stores. The discounts are capital-D Deep on beer and spirits alike, and beyond having stellar deals, they get some seriously uncommon stuff. I was elated to finally find cans of Great Flood beer again, and the discounted price on them was icing on the cake. What more could you ask for from a liquor store? In this era of rampant inflation, Schreck's is a godsend.

BUYER BEWARE!I walked in, surveyed the small store, and asked to see a bottle on the top shelf that i thought i could see was marked $39.99 (everything in the store is hand tagged so its hard to tell). I meander over to the counter to ask the store owner for some assistance in viewing the bottle. The store owner walks over while saying its a well priced bottle and reaches to get it down. He then see's that the price tag is 39.99, tries to cover it up so i cant see this. I say, its 39.99, he says no its 49.99. I say, the tag says $39.99 and he proceeds to tell me that's wrong, and he cant sell it to me for that, it should be $49.99. He removes the 'incorrect' sticker and tells me I cant have it for the price it was shelved at. I informed him that I wont be returning. So heads up! Prices are negotiable, and never in your favor!

Neighborhood liquor store in Highlands with a decent selection. Not the cheapest but close and reasonable. On second glance a pretty good wine selection, I found a real nice 10 year old port (like pulling teeth in Bourbonville here) and the wine selection had some real fine labels as well. It's a tight spot-narrow aisles-but the help is very friendly and glad to help. A pretty good and reasonably priced liquor store.

Teeny-tiny.Miniscule.But a pretty impressive selection. The only things I have bought here are the weird, random $5 liquors. Because why not....they're $5 for a bottle?! Might as well give it a try.
