Sawasdee Thai Cuisine & Sushi

I stopped in for lunch the other day with my BFF, first let me say read the heat scale by the door carefully then review your life choices. Then remember that 1 is not an Indian restaurant 1 it is more like a 3, and 0.5 is about a 2. With that said. The service was great for us. The only other couple there had to go hunt the wait staff down to get a refill. The place is pleasant and was clean. The food, well I got the 0.5 and my BFF got the 1. Night and day difference in heat. My meal was a little spicy, enough that I could handle it. My BFF got the 1 and it was almost too spicy. We shared egg rolls that were very good. And the food was perfect just watch the heat level. At the time of this review of food was around $15 a plate, but it was very filling and I would say worth it. I highly recommend if in the area swing by for some tasty food.

This is a hidden gem in a weird location but the food is delicious!!! The service was a little slow but it was a good opportunity to talk with my friend!! I ordered the Pad See Ew and it was delicious! The spice level was a little more hot than I was ready for so my suggestion would be to order a little less spicy if you're bothered by heat. The portions are big and fresh and I can't wait to go back!

Be prepared to wait a long time for take out. I called ahead, they said it would take 20min. It took 45. Person taking the order on the phone and waiting at the hostess stand was rude. I tipped for a takeout order and wish I didn't. There are way better Thai places that aren't as expensive.

Sawasdee Thai Cuisine and Sushi is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants. I have loved everything I have tried so far. Today, I grabbed some takeout for lunch. I saw a sign outside for pad thai and realized that I have never had theirs, so I went with that and a philly cheese sushi roll. My total came to $25, which felt decent for the amount of food I got-- definitely two meals worth. Sawasdee claims that their pad thai is the best, and after tasting it, I have to agree that it is definitely up there. I ordered spice level 1, as I have found that they make things a bit hotter than other restaurants. It was perfect! The sushi was also delicious. The only thing I did not like was the spicy may-- it was way too sweet. I am more of a savory spicy mayo girl. But that is a pretty minor detail. The service was SO fast. I think I got my order in less than ten min. They always have signs with funny jokes and witty humor and a candy dish. The staff are kind and efficient. Can't wait to try approximately everything on the menu.

Second time we've eaten here in recent months at their new location in West Chester. They have "Now open" signs out as though they just opened (????) and an abbreviated "Soft opening" menu to match. Not sure what the deal is here--I could swear they had a full menu last time. Unfortunately larb was not on this menu. But I was able to get egg rolls, a salad and a stir-fry dish which is what I usually order. Plus they have a full sushi menu so I had a roll also. Food quality was pretty good. Caution: The heat levels here (1 to 5) are VERY understated. I had a 3 and was sweating. My wife had a 2 and couldn't eat more than 2 or 3 bites--took the rest home for me. So you should probably order one number less than you usually do. Service was OK.

How have I not reviewed this place. It's my favorite!I love everything in this menu, it's simply the place that makes me and my tummy the happiest!

The BEST pad Thai you will ever eat. Be mindful of the spice scale. Runs a little hot. Lek is amazing.

This is our favorite Thai restaurant. Every dish is remarkable. The service is great and we like the fact that the restaurant is open and quiet Highly recommended

Outstanding! We visited the Fairfield location frequently before they closed (landlord issue). We were happy to see the new location in West Chester. Finally had the opportunity to visit. The absolute best Thai food we have ever had. Very flavorful and delicious. The Pad Thai is like no other. Service is spot on! Staff is attentive and positive. The food is a good value and the overall experience will keep us coming back. I love this place. So happy Sawasdee is back!

Food never disappoints!! Hand made spring rolls, marinated chicken that is perfection and the best Pad Thai I've ever eaten! Sushi is among the best I've had all of the country! Owner is a wealth of knowledge that puts her heart into everything and it is definitely felt in the food! Thank you!!
