Sassy Bleu

Hard to say anything good. The service was terrible, took an hour and we were the only table in the place. We had to ask were our food was only to be told the ticket didn't make it to the kitchen. The food was awful. The Mac n cheese had separated and was not edible. The cornbread was burnt. The fried chicken was over cooked and dry. We did get to hear several conversations the bar patrons were having on their phones because they were on their speakers. I think the location is cursed. We will never go back and not recommend to anyone.

The food was very unique and delicious. We were one of only two tables occupied in the restaurant. It took a long time to get our food. The server was new and did the very best she could. The owner? or manager? lounged around and blamed any delays on the new server. He was not at all helpful and we will not return.

The place is pleasant enough, but the food is overpriced. My oyster/mushroom salad was served with the oysters and mushrooms barely warm and nearly tasteless. My friends chicken in her sandwich was tough. Our server was pleasant, but clearly not fully trained. The noise level was high, although our server did turn the music down upon request. A few diners were loud. We won't be going back.

Lots of restaurants in and out of this space, but I hope this one is here to stay. Had company in town and decided to try Sassy Bleu for dinner. Warmly greeted at the door and once we were at our table we had an attentive and knowledgeable server. Really like the menu offerings with everything from small bites to entrees. Husband orders catfish dinner with sides of fried cabbage and Mac and cheese. Friend ordered chicken Philly cheesesteak and fries. I had grilled pork chops with sweet potato casserole and Mac and cheese. (Wish there were more green veggie options.) Everything was really good. My husband said the catfish was perfectly cooked, my grilled pork chops were seasoned just right and tender and the sweet potato casserole was delicious! Friend said her Philly cheesesteak was one of best she'd ever had. Fries were crispy and hot. Large servings and excellent service. Highly recommend.
