Rod Hatfield has a Used Cars Lot in Winchester, KY. I don't see a Yelp page for this lot. I'm sure Rod Hatfield's in Lexington owns it.I am looking for my sons first vehicle. I was using Cargurus.com and came across a 2016 Nissan Rogue, with 112,000 miles, listed for 10K at the Rod Hatfield's Used Cars location in Winchester, KY.I drove there this past Saturday, July 6th, 2019, and test drove it. It was a clean vehicle and I spoke with the manager and the salesperson. I told them I liked the vehicle and would be back to purchase it in a couple of days. I got the phone number and email of the salesperson. I asked the manager, I don't remember his name, if they give Military personal any discount, and he responded that they love the military and would take care of me. (yea right)I emailed the salesman the same day and again told them I was going to purchase the SUV. He emailed back a day later and said that the price had gone up and that it was listed wrong. Of course, I wasn't happy. The price went from 10k to 12k. (wow!) I considered it and agreed that as long as the 12k included tax, license, and all fees then I would purchase the vehicle. They agreed. (I have the emails)I then call them and make arrangements to pay for the vehicle on Friday July 12th, 2019 but I received an email on Wednesday saying the price had gone up again. (WTF?)The salesman fell all over himself, trying to convince it was a mistake but the it was still a great price. I, of course, told them the deal was off and that they were a very dishonest business. He didn't argue..lol.The price went from 10k to 12k after I told them I'd purchase it, then up to 13,500 right before we were suppose to purchase. This business should not be in business. They are the reason car dealerships have a bad name. Very sad and I wouldn't buy a vehicle from any car dealership with the Rod Hatfield name on it.Sad...

Wish you could give negative stars. Bought a 2010 Equniox for $6000 on 06-25-19 from Ron Downing, on 06-28-19 cylinder 3 blew and dumped oil into the air intake. I was on my way to Utah to start school for a new high paying job. Never made it. Lost the job, lost the $7900 payment for school, out the $6000 for the Equinox and here I sit with no vehicle. The dealership did refund me $850, the money they say they made on the sale, but it took me several weeks of chasing them around until I finally showed up at the dealership and things finally happened and I received my money the next day. Would not recommend this dealership to my enemies. Save yourself the time and money and go literally anywhere else.

I was looking at purchasing a 2017 Lexus GX460 from Jacob Burchwell at this store, he sent me photos and a purchase order which I agreed to pay after which was after he said there was a service bill of $480 that he forgot to tell me about, I agreed to pay that as well. I was then told of a $530 Doc fee which is normal at most stores and I asked for a $200 reduction as I was not aware of the Service bill charge. After everything he came back to me and said his boss said no and I agreed to purchase it as I was tired at that point. I called several times after that with no answer and sent messages and he ignored all my messages, I even called the store this morning and I was hung up on twice. This is absolutely not acceptable. If you choose not to do business atleast with me have the common decency to give me a call or send me a message that vehicle was sold etc. I look online and price was increased again another $1,000. These are the people that give the whole car business and sales people a bad name and cannot be trusted. Please stay clear from this dealer and especially the sales guy Jacob Burchwell. Jacob you should be ashamed of yourself!! I would expect a call from a Manager when you receive this review.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!! STAY FAR AWAY! We purchased our car on June 26, 2017, we had a good experience with the sales man, however the manager was pushy and lied to us about the payment point. When we purchased, we were told our car would be here Friday ( June 30), or Saturday (July 1). On Wednesday when I called he told me it would be there Friday, however when my husband stopped by on Thursday (June 29) the manager Ron Reester called my husband a liar and told him he didn't say our car would be in Friday or Saturday, at that time Ron promised to pay our first car payment, give us oil changes and also give us an additional tank of gas, and that our car would be in the following Friday (July 7) When I stopped by on July 6th to ask what time the car would be delivered they told me it wouldn't be there until between the 13 and 19 of July. When I stopped by on July 18th they told me my car was further delayed and would be here Friday and they were 90% sure. When I became upset they told me that they couldn't do anything and that the last manager was the one who told us all the fore mentioned things. Its been really rough dealing with these men. My car finally got in on July 20. When I asked them about all the things they promised I was told they would talk to upper management. They won't return my calls now and did not do the first thing they promised.

I highly recommend Rod Hatfield dealership. I was traveling from Virginia to Illinois when my car battery died. I was desperate for help. I was driving a Kia but I spotted Rod Hatfield dealership and walked to it. It was late and they were in the process of closing. I asked if they could send someone to where my car was stranded to jump it. Mario was behind the counter, said if I gave him a few minutes while he continue to close he would meet me at my car. He did just that, got my car started and sent me on my way with a smile and a handshake. Mario was a godsend to myself and my granddaughter and my great granddaughter, who were traveling with me. I think that says volumes to Mario's character and The integrity of the dealership.Thank you so much from a grateful grandma and great grandma.

I purchased my 2017 Jeep Compass from Rod Hatfield LLC in Winchester ,Ky. I have always had my vehicle serviced there to keep the bumper to bumper warranty. Needless to say that's a joke. I was told it give me the coverage for 5 yrs lie it only covered first 35,000 miles. Recently I received a coupon for my next oil change and tire rotation with there address and location just for the to tell me that they do not honor those coupons.. So I would suggest to purchase your next vehicle somewhere else. They are only out to get your money not a loyal return customer....

Well I just learned that they don't care one bit to be miss leading in their Sumer time event. Says right in the add up to $4000 more for your trade in. Even says right in the add up to $4000 more than KBB value. That was all lies for sure. The KBB value for the car we was trading in said plain as day. The value was in between $19000-$22000. They come back with a $18000 for the trade in. I said that's low and where is the extra up to $4000 over your trade in value. The guy who I'm assuming is the finance manager that was working with Barry Riddel to sell us the car said that's only available if your car was worth more than the auctions were selling them around their area. Which has nothing to do with KBB value like the add said. He said they don't use KBB for trade in. Right in the add it has KBB value all over it. I even showed him the add that he seemed to not even know about. And I read out loud the part that said up to $4000 over KBB value. Moral of the story don't believe adds they post. They only do it to get you in the seat in front of them and throw numbers of monthly payments hoping you don't ask questions about interest rates , or trade in values being low. The less they pay for you vehicles the more return they get when they resale it. Don't go here thinking that what they advertise is what they will do or you will walk out disappointed, or you will drive home with your back ripped out overpaying on a loan.
