Rocky Tops Pizza

Great restaurant wonderful service you feel like family when visiting this pizza restaurant. You will definitely enjoy the friendly staff and the home style family environment.

One of my favorite childhood memories is eating here! We make special trips in from out of town to get our fix!

We ordered th Rocky Top's pizza, which is pepperoni, ground sausage, mushrooms and onions. It was about $18. Let me start by saying the crust (dough) is great. Chewy and flavorful. The rest. . . Holy smokes. The toppings are not only poor quality, but they are wicked tight with them. On a large pizza, I counted 9 pepperoni slices. Only 9. Probably 1/4 cup of the ground sausage. A smidge of canned mushrooms and a bit of chopped onion. The cheese was also sparse. I think this place is only popular because it's the only food place in a 6 mile radius of the school complex. No competition. Not even a hot dog cart.

Order the sweet sauce. Seriously, right now, call them and order a pizza with sweet sauce and some cheese sticks...maybe a two liter of Mountain Dew and some Snyder's BBQ chips.This was the only place for pizza if you went to Buffalo Elementary or Middle school. After every sporting event this is where you came to eat what might have been the best straightforward pizza you've ever had, and certainly the best in the Tristate (though Evaroni's is unbelievably good too).Since Rocky Top's came under new management and started popping up new locations throughout the area they've gone a bit down in quality, but this one, the original location, hasn't. It still stands as it has forever as one of the best pies I've ever had.Oh, and try the Sub Over. That thing is glorious.

So heeeey, guess who gets downgraded to one star? The people who gave me an 11 dollar order of cheese sticks instead of the small ones I ordered, and gave us a tiny pizza when I ordered a 16 inch. Well see, it was 16 inches of crust on an 11 inch pan, so it was this thick underdone mess with the toppings sliding off of it. So, now you can't even do pizza right. No reason to go here whatsoever.

Without a doubt the BEST pizza in the land! My go-to is double cheese with pineapple and I'm never disappointed.

Only pizza place in Wayne except for Gino's and you have to pour the grease off of their pizzas. Rocky Tops needs to learn how to make a better pizza crust.

Best fries in the tri-state area! Fried n salted to perfection! Sandwiches tastier n less pricy than Giovanni's pizza. Delicious n overstuffed with meat, cheese and topping. Give them a try. You won't regret it.

The BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD. Derek always make our pizza perfectly to order. No one even comes close!

Pretty good pizza. It's hard to catch them open, but when you do its definitely a decent pizza joint. No room for seating so carry out or they may deliver. Definitely worth a try though. I recommend them.
