I definitely recommend checking out River Run Waterpark! It is a clean, safe, & fun family-friendly waterpark. The staff is always friendly & helpful. I really appreciate how clean & well-kept the entire park is. You can tell management really cares about their facility. I also really enjoy how affordable the food at the concession stand is. I love not having to break the bank to have a fun day with my nieces. $3.00 for a hot dog? Yes, please! From the slides to the lazy river to the pool to the food. We love to do it all.During hot summer days this place can get packed! So I definitely recommend arriving as early as possible to make sure you can snag a chair.

Came here while visiting my sister on 4th of July weekend. We chose it for its low price and small size. We didn't want to necessarily have three little kids running around a huge park. As soon as we got there we went inside to the main pool area and not 5 minutes later it was announced that they were closing the pool for an extended period of time. No explanation given. I was pissed, but whatever. Probably some kid shit in the pool. So of course everyone migrated toward the lazy River. Not nearly enough floats for everyone and quite a few deflated. A definite possibility in a water park, I know, but there was no one replacing them or even removing them from circulation. The life guards who are all about 16 years old seemed more concerned with what people are wearing than with watching the peoples safety. More than once I saw people being questioned about the type of material their attire was made from???? Wtf is that about? The website has a plethora of asinine rules...for example...no zippers, no street clothes....what the heck is that about? Are they going to start checking clothing tags for the material next? Also, they still function like it's 1982 as far as the lockers....you need quarters. Who walks around with quarters in 2022?All in all, if you wanna get wet and splash around it's an ok place for small kids. Don't expect too much for $17.

We typically make it here, once a summer. It is always very clean. The lifeguards are always very attentive. We always have a great time! ** I do find it very annoying that we can't take in our own snacks-- as a family that eats "clean"-- those options aren't at the concession. **

River Run is about 20 minutes outside of Lousiville. It contains a baby pool, a kiddie section (about 3 feet deep), a big pool, four slides and a lazy river. Concessions are available and take both cash and card. Its a fun place. While smaller than I expected, its still great for all ages. Prices for out-of-state residents, however, are steep. They check ID's. Ages 1 and under are free. Everyone else-$15 per person. A family of four spending 2-3 hours at the pool-a minimum of $60!!!!! Yikes. Also, NO outside food or drink is allowed. They actually check your bags before you enter. In my case, I had to throw away my bottled water and throw out the Goldfish snacks. There are lockers that can be rented but I am unsure the cost of those. Rules were unclear...I was told different rules for the Lazy River by four different lifeguards. (In regard to sharing an innertube with a 5 yr old). Seems they should post rules for guests and lifeguards so guests arent repeatedly being misinformed. I was told we MUST share a tube and I was told we could absolutly not share a tube. Concession food tasted awful and no healthy options available except for a Dole fruit cup. Its a really cool place but it was annoying to be searched and told to throw out unopened food and water and definetly overpriced. Also, the unclear rules were a pain. I enjoyed it but there are easier and less expensive places to go swim for a day.

I have one year old boy who likes water. This place is a great water park even for toddlers. Like other Yelpers mentioned that they will check your bags at the gate, no food & no drinks allowed. I think it's a good system to keep the facility clean. Staff were friendly and nice. I brought my son by myself so I was just a little bit nervous, but everything turned out well. They have a lots of chairs everywhere. Life guards everywhere and they seemed well trained. We will go back when the weather gets better again!

River Run is a fantastic aquatic center for ANY age. They have a baby pool from 6 inches to 2 feet and they have a large pool that goes from 6 inches to 5 foot and back down to 3 foot. There is a lazy river and 4 large water slides. There are plenty of lawn chairs around and lockers for your stuff are only 25 cent. So bring your quarters! There are life guards covering every area very well. They definitely do a great job of keeping their eyes on the water and the people in it. I did have a kid with a bloody lip one day and they took care of us in their first aid area very well and gave my 4 year old nephew a popsicle after he was all cleaned up. The accident was NOT due to the facility at all. The director was there to write a report while we were getting cleaned up. Everyone was very kind. They have a snack bar that has good options and many restroom options. There are single and family restrooms as well as a larger men's and women's restroom area with changing areas. They have a sunblock count station and showers along the wall outside to rinse off. I have taken my niece and nephew (ages 4,5,11) many times already this summer and we all love it. I absolutely recommend this for a fun pool day that isn't too expensive!

River run is an aquatic center located in the heart of new Albany it is the old Camille right . It is a very good location and it is clean as well . You can tell it is very well kept . Seeing how it's still new . We arrived at about 410 on Sunday afternoon with a party of 5 . It was pretty pricey for admission seeing how I am not a Floyd co resident . Well before I even pay my admission to get into the pool a lady comes up to me in the line and asks to check my bags ... I told her yes she can ,AFTER I pay admission . Well after I pay to get in I let her check my bag and she puts gloves on . I guess insinuating I had something in my bag . Finally after that we enter the pool and it is very nice with a lazy river and 3 decent sized slides and a big swimming pool . We were there in the water for about 10 minutes . Enough for the kids to get wet and then it started thundering. Not raining but thundering so we had to clear the pool. They said every thunder rumble is 30 mins .so we decided to get something to eat since By this time its been 4 rumbles of thunder so that's 2 hours . So we go to concessions and they are ridiculously expensive . 2$ for a small fountain drink and 3.50 for a hot dog 2$ for a bag of chips OMG ! So then they announced they were gonna close so we asked for a rain check seeing how we were only there for about 45 mins all together and they do not offer rain checks . ! Over all not a good first experience . Won't go back ! I will take my friends family and kids to Clarksville cove from now on (Clarksville cove is heated River run is not) and will not attempt to spend money in a place who won't even give a rain check or refund when I was there less than an hour.2 stars was for cleanliness !!!
