Great options, delicious food, with attentive service! Love the low light atmosphere and I can't wait to make it back there again.

Enjoyable dining experience. We were seated as soon as we entered the restaurant, and the server was attentive throughout our visit (quick to take drink orders, food order, and checked on us several times). The atmosphere is very relaxed, with the lights down low. Our food came out fresh and hot and fairly soon after ordering. Definitely worth a return visit.

Food was really good. This was my first time eating here. Had the beef teriyaki. Service was very friendly and the interior was really nice.

I've driven by this place a few dozen times and have always been interested. Heck, at least it's another sushi option in Oldham county. The place wasn't very busy, and I guess that's what happens on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. But, that doesn't give you an excuse for poor service. I'm sure we aren't the only ones who have noticed that at literally every Japanese restaurant you've eaten at the water comes out almost before you even sit down. Well, that definitely wasn't the case here. It seem like forever until our waiter even noticed we were sitting in his section. And I get that happens on busy nights but when we were like one of two tables in your section that's rough, dude. In all reality that should've been our first clue how this place was going to be.I got hot tea, and regret I did. Green tea has its own distinctive flavor that isn't for everyone. This cup was gross, and I don't saw that very often. My wife ordered for herself and the kids, and then the guy starts walking away before I tell him what I want. It was...strange. We ended up getting 5 rolls and some other things. I'm not going to bother with names, bc the limited menu seemed to just repeat itself just switch out the protein. Wife said hers were bland. I had a deep fried crawfish roll, that seemed to be all batter and nothing else. It was probably the most fried roll I've ever had. There was no saving grace here. I guess I didn't get food poisoning, so there's that. With all the other sushi options in Louisville it's really hard for me to say I'd go back here.

Freaking ridiculous to spend $16 on chicken teriyaki when there's hardly any chicken. If I only wanted fried rice- I'd ask for just that. Waste of time and $ from a pile of garbage establishment. Good luck with your take out orders. I wouldn't recommend this place.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in the Louisville area. It's a bit of a drive to the east end, but it's worth it. The California and spicy tuna rolls are my favorite. They also have a good wine selection. The carry out service is also great for a quick delicious dinner at home.

We picked up Rikishi take out and we were blown away! This sushi is so good. The Christy Roll was our favorite but everything was so good!

This place basically has the best sushi in all of Louisville. Ive been to tons of other sushi joints around here and all the others pale in comparison. The ambiance here is pretty meh and the service is fine, but the specialty rolls are SOOO GOOD!!! They have some really cool fried rolls that we love like the perfect storm, volcano, las vegas and then some of the fresh rolls like moonlight and sunshine.

Great food, the server was amazing(sorry I forgot his name). The food was exemplary. The ambience was great, amazing art on the walls. Truly traditional sushi rolls with a great variety. Would always recommend 10/10!!!!

Delicious sushi, good service, calm setting, reasonable pricing, easy parking. If you're looking for a chill place to grab sushi, Rikishi is a great place to check out.
