Best workers in Lexington. I actually smell candles before I bought them (unlike some people, apparently) and I love what I got. Dope spot, unique selection.

I hate to break there 5 star reviews but the $35 dollar candle I bought from this store doesn't allow me not to. Do not buy the pricy candle. It works only like a candle. Can't find a better way to waste my money on. If you put your nose near this candle, it smells really nice and special, like wood bourbon mix. Really nice and fancy. But when I lighted it up at home, it works like convenience store $5 candle. The only function it has is to light up the dark. It is not a fragrance if that is what you are expecting. But for a $35 dollar candle, that would be what a normal people expect. So dissatisfied and disappointed. I can't believe I bought 2 of them. My thought was to save another trip. But it wasted me a trip just to go in to return the unused one. Unfortunately, the one I used can't be returned. So if you really like to try a fancy fragrance candle, Sephora might be the best place, at least, you can return it regardless.

We had come down to the distillery district to eat Goodfellows pizza and stumbled on the Relic Lexington by chance and am sorry I had not found it sooner. I love the style of this store with a mix of antiques and new items. The store contained many Lexington pictures such as maps of the city and horse pictures and signs. The style of the store was a hip rustic vibe and many new and beautiful rugs and furnishings. There was also bar ware and bourbon barrel heads and bourbon stave items. The place contained many cool tables, bars, shelving units and military pictures and tables. The owner Chad Tussey was helpful and gave me a card with the website. The website was well laid out with the items divided into categories: furniture, accessories, bourbon barrels, cover your walls, oriental rugs, lighting, stuff for your bar, Kentucky made soaps, candles, and food, architectural salvage, hats, shirts, socks, etc., grooming supplies, new relic finds, and sale items. I will be back and really enjoyed my visit.

Cool store with all sorts of cheeky souvenirs and interesting finds. I found so many adorable things I wanted to buy! Definitely worth a stop if you're tasting bourbon in the area.

Why has it taken me so long to actually go in this shop?? I must have driven past this place a dozen times just thinking it was a rug store. Oh boy was I wrong!! This place is a rustic vintage antique shoppers heaven. After learning of what they really have I went here with a particular item in mind that I was looking for. I walked the entire store looking at almost everything they had. Chad the owner was very friendly and helpful. I told him what I was looking for and he said we can make that for you. He took down my husbands name and phone number and told him as soon as it's ready he'll text a picture to make sure it's what we want and then we can pay when we pick it up. He didn't want us to pay ahead of time in case it wasn't what we wanted. Where else can you get that kind of service?!?! Anxiously awaiting the text for our item and I'll post it as soon as we get it!! (Crossing fingers it's soon) Oh and they are hoping to get beer and liquor license soon so you can shop and have a drink....winning!!!

This is a must see store in Lexington!! Amazing homegoods and the shop owner Chad will make you feel at home. Lots of KY gifts !! Very very cool!!

Easily one of the greatest gems in town. I can't tell you how long I stayed on my first visit, it had to be well over an hour. This place is full of pretty much everything you could ever want from a shop like this. They have a great taste in inventory for consumers that have a great eye. I was obsessed with this place from the front door to the back and it was super easy to get out of control with my picks which is fine because the prices are very reasonable. One of a kind, conversation starting, bold pieces that will definitely make a statement and take your home to the next level. What a f***king aesthetic! I'm so impressed and excited to visit this place again. COVID business hours have kept me away but I'll be sure to find the time. The owner wasn't there when I dropped by but the gentleman working was a great help and had an awesome personality. Never pressured me to buy anything or ever followed me around, just did his own thing and kept a welcoming convo going. I was so at home. It started to rain and luckily they had a Samurai katana sword handle, umbrella. I bought it. It broke the first time I used it but I still love it and this is in no way a poor representation of their cool inventory. Trust me, you will love EVERYTHING!!! Here are a couple items I got

In response to Chad's reply: I was in your store about a month ago, if that was you at the desk, you could not be bothered to look up and even say hello -from your desk/counter to the right of the entrance. Maybe you were watching the news or whatever, fact remains, you stayed glued to your phone the entire time I was in the store, and I was the ONLY one other than you. So not assisting anyone else, just engrossed in whatever you were doing. All I saw in the store was reproduction prints for Keeneland and UK fans stuff hanging on the columns and the brick walls, no antiques, no vintage, some leather furniture and knick knacks and a few bourbon barrel type items. Before you claim to have no ads on yelp, go look at Yelp and you will see for yourself how your store is depicted. You might want to talk to the people at yelp for falsely describing the place, Maybe some attention should be paid to that. It is unfortunate that owners like to blame the customer and suggest they have never been in the store or are bots rather than offering a sincere apology for ignoring them. No more a bot than you. Love the Kentucky Bourbon vibe and decor. Art work was beautiful and accessories are great.
