Red Fern Riding Center at Shelby Trails Park

Absolutely LOVED my experience at the riding center on yesterday. The horses were lovely they each have their own personalities, they are well trained, well kept, they smelled good & they are amazing at their jobs. I had the pleasure of riding Ms.Blossom & I'm a big girl I was terrified!! She made me feel so comfortable she was so sweet & also so smart. I also had the privilege of riding behind Ms.Mary who's her own boss she was lovely her attitude showed confidence. The staff are well acquainted with the animals, they are treated well & talked to with much respect. Maybe I'll be back soon. My absolute best experience since being here in Kentucky .

We had a terrific experience trail riding here! The two instructors were friendly and at ease, so our group felt safe and comfortable riding. The scenic ride was beautiful, and the horses were relaxed and well-trained. Would recommend.

I have never rode a horse before but this was a good experience. Quality horses and staff, I would definitely recommend.

We paid for a trail and my family and I were very disappointed. We have done this before at other places but this experience was the worst.The horses were Fantastic. The person who lead us on the trail was a terrible host. She came across rude and inconvenienced by our presence. We had to stay in a single file line the whole time, which would not let us talk to our family and took away from the experience it self.Although I understand during the trail we have to be in a single file, but there were many times we were in open fields and she still wouldn't let us ride next to each other to share the experience with our family.Her personality was terrible and she acted that since she knows how to ride horses she's some how better then us people who don't ride horses all the time. Will not go back and I highly suggest whoever is looking to ride to find another place. There are plenty!

I really enjoyed myself here. We did a 1hr horse ride. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our instructor was knowledgeable about horses and able to answer any horse related questions we asked.

I boarded my horse there and they were very negligent with my horses care. He was put in harms way with other horses with no concern for he's safety. The paddocks were never secure so he was injured many times due to this. The owner of the barn Justine Sudan is very mean and obusive to her boarders and especially to her employees. I would never board my horse there or even work for this employer. The whole environment is negative due to her bullying employees and boarders.

My family and I have gone horseback riding at Red Fern on two separate occasions. The staff is friendly and have an excellent trail to take with the horses. We love this place. We will definitely go again.

Have not been there, but was recommended to me by a friend. Sounds interesting to me for a fun experience and ride. Young age limit was disappointing for a young one that is already riding. Will try in the future sometime. Don't know what the atmosphere or service is like.Try it you'll probably like it I would imagine. Happy riding!

We had a wonderful experience here for my daughter's first trail ride and first time ever on a horse. Our trail guide Kamryn was incredibly friendly and patient with her as she was quite timid at first. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
