The worst place to stay, doors doesnt work, clogged bath tub, bad internet.... I never come back at this place

It has a pool, which is a requirement for us when we travel. The lobby is nice and so are the people at the front desk. This is a bare bones kind of place, don't expect anything luxurious.Besides that, this hotel needs some updating. The room doors are made out of wood, that kind of wood that's on the doors in your Mom and Dad's house. The ice machine is in the lobby and there's no refrigerator or microwave in the room. They do have wi fi which is allowing me to write this review!We ended up here kind of randomly. We planned to stop in Corbin, Kentucky, about 90 minutes away, but since the kids weren't screaming, decided to drive further. We called Expedia from the car and they found this place.The biggest bummer is that all they had were smoking rooms. Of course Expedia lady didn't tell me that. The guy at the front desk was sorry about it and he did manage to get us 2 rooms next door to each other.So while this has the Ramada name, I would consider this more along the line of a motel with the doors to your room inside. At least it's clean enough that I don't have to wear my flip flops in the shower. We stayed in one of those last year. That place was scary!

Do not stay here unless you have recently had a tetanus shot. To say it was filthy would be an insult to filth. From the moment you enter the lobby, your eyes are drawn to the staircase, which has not seen a vacuum since the Reagan Administration. Going down the hall, you can't help but notice the dim lighting and dingy carpet which makes you feel you really should be paying for the room by the hour. Once in the room, don't make a mistake and move the nightstand as I did, while desperately searching for an outlet to recharge my cell phone. The dirt and refuse I found behind the nightstand was not only unnerving, I'm fairly certain it growled at me. If I could give a negative star I would do so gladly.

Uhhh, no way lady. The first room we were sent to didn't have an A/C unit that worked and it was on the front of the building in the blazing sun radiating off the parking lot. Widows permanently locked so no option for fresh parking lot air. Suck up the stagnant, mildew air in your steamy room. We were moved into another room that was not much better. Everything was damp as if the bottom floor had been flooded yesterday. I wore shoes the whole time I was in the room, The sheets were damp too. I thought Ramada's were supposed to be somewhat nice. This one was is very much not nice. The one bonus: they had sausage wrapped in a pancake = a breakfast corn dog! Hilarious!

Decent place to stay for a very cheap price! I was leary of this place due to a price that was about half of what other hotels in the area charge. I was very happy with it though. It was pretty clean, and the kids loved the pool. Breakfast was basic, with the addition of sausage patties and biscuits. I believe there has been a change in management in the past 9 months or so. I would stay here again, especially with the $50/night room rates!

First I would like to say this is not. Ramada it's now called Guest House Inn and suites..first of all the staff were very nice people..they are going through a renovation but that didn't bother me..I read a review on this before staying and someone did say they have BED BUGS well they do STAY AWAY..After 3 days of being there I felt like things were crawling all over me.. I didn't think much of it but I have been home a little over a week and I started feeling the same thing and I have woke up with bites..so a company came in my home and we have them..NEVER STAY HERE TILL SOMETHING IS DONE MANAGER STATED WITH OTHER REVIEW THEY DID A CHECK AND DIDNT FIND ANY GET A PROFESSIONAL TO INSPECT THE WHOLE PROPERTY I HAVE I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED..

if I could give it zero stars I would.this place is very racist I have had problems with the staffI payed $80 dollars for a room and it was nice at first I went to sleep when I woke up there were ants almost everywhere (nothing was open) . I called the staff they moved us to a room . I thought it was over then I looked over and I saw bed bugs. Now I'm sleeping in my car with NO refund. READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU CHECK IN.

first off, the staff was very racist. The bathroom door doesn't lock.Our first night we woke up to ants everywhere, the staff was not helpful in getting us a new room. the same night we received our new room with bed bugs. They told us they had no rooms available and we were left with bed bugs and no refund.

So I do not like to leave a bed review but I have to here. First the staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean enough. The problems were the beds were not comfortable. My wife and I woke up with sore backs which never happens. The security lock on the door for our room was broken off of the door itself. The pool was blackish I would not recommend swimming in it. The workout room had a treadmill and a bike in it and it was a room that you could barely move in. The disco lights on the check-in desk really seemed to cheapen the hotel atmosphere. The last thing that the hotel really can't control but we had to leave was when we picked up the spoon for the eggs for breakfast and it had a long black hair on it. So we were done. Also this is now called Guest House.

Our stay was very disappointing. While I understand the facility is older and somethings are to be expected with age, the overpricing for the quality received is shameful. The check in process: the lobby door was left open due to the heat inside, air conditioning issues, the room entrance in the back of the facility always had people outside at all hours, smoking mainly but also seemed unsafe at times, one person seemed impaired overly friendly and the adult female companion wearing a mask (not near Halloween). As we walked in the back entrance, there was dog poop in the hallway and was not cleaned up for awhile, of note, an employee was out there smoking and should have seen it. The odor coming in was very strong with smoke, mustiness, staleness. There was a light fixture missing in the ceiling in the hall with wires hanging down. The room had a very strong odor. Mold was growing on the ceiling and the air grate in the room was dirty and corroded and hanging down. After reading the reviews and seeing reports of bed bugs we looked at the beds/mattress and saw where there was black hairs in between the sheets and pad couldn't have been changed or washed and I doubt the sheets were either. The next day we left our dirty towels on the floor and a tip on the night table. When we came back the money was gone but the towels were still dirty on the floor, the trash was not taken out of the room and only the sheets were pulled up on the bed with the comforter still on the floor. No cleaning was done. We called for towels and when brought asked about cleaning and were asked if we had left the do not disturb sign on, "No and that someone had been in the room but it was not cleaned" . She asked did we want cleaned the next day. I told her no as we were leaving that day,and she just said "ok". I read more reviews, rough neighborhood, people hanging out in parking lot, car break ins, poor customer service, dirty rooms, pool dirty etc, over pricing, security deposits not refunded and left on card etc. The back door to rooms was propped open one night by the rug, security hazard. One night as the housekeeper cleaned and was in the hall, someone must have had same issue as dirty towels were placed outside the room to be picked up, the next day the towels were still there and I know she should have seen them. When we checked out, was not asked how the stay was and I was just glad to leave. Unsafe place, dirty and a health hazard, extremely dissatisfied.
