Puerto Vallarta Mexican Restaurant

Tried this place for the second time and l was more impressed this time around. The fish tacos were ok, but the grilled-chicken salad was the star of the show. The spice of the meat was amazing.Service was very good and efficient. Had a short wait after placing our takeout order in the restaurant. Can't wait to other things on the menu.

$11.25 for this "fajita taco salad". We live 5 minutes from the restaurant & our food was cold. This is what I was given after I scraped off the lettuce & sour cream in order to reheat it. We ordered 1 meal last night to go & cheese dip & was given a bag of chips & salsa. Tonight we ordered 2 meals & cheese dip & was only given 1bag of chips & 1 salsa-we had to pay extra for another bag of chips & salsa- does that make sense?!?! I know times are tough but this is unacceptable. I called & talked to a manager. I didn't ask for a refund/credit, I just informed him of the low quality of food they're serving their customers.

My family and I have been to Puerto Vallarta many times over the years, the food and service are always great! The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The shrimp tacos, taco salad, fajitas, queso, guac, and salsa are all great options. They also have awesome margaritas. When ordering to go the food is still just as good!

My family and I stopped in here for dinner on a Thursday evening. It was not too crowded and we were seated immediately. The waitress was very nice and brought the free chips and salsa out quickly. We had some great tacos and I enjoyed my burrito meal. They continued to refill the drinks and the salsa so that was great. This is a very nice Mexican restaurant that we will be back for again

I came on a Friday night a little past 7 to meet friends for Margaritas. I had called earlier in the day to make a reservation, so I wasn't worried about a table. I assumed they'd be busier due to the UK basketball game, but not so much. They've got a few TVs, but likely most people watching were at the bar.Parking lot was almost full but there were tons of spots open.Some of my friends frequent this place a lot! This was my first time here though. They knew the staff pretty well! They were personable and funny. And smiley too!The space is interesting. It's divided up into multiple spaces due to barriers. The place seemed bigger from the outside, but it's smaller than I thought, although enough space to accommodate for lots of people.I got a shrimp chimichanga. Delicious! I haven't seen this on any menu before and was impressed how many seafood and vegetarian options they had, since I'm (trying to) going meatless on Friday's for Lent.Some of my friends ordered the taco salad, chicken fajitas, carnitas, shrimp enchiladas, steak fajita quesadilla, regular quesadilla, and steak tacos.They all enjoyed it! Chips and salsa were good too! The salsa tasted fresh!Why the 4 stars? The bathrooms weren't clean...I was a little displeased. And one of the stalls was tight to get into!Otherwise, the strawberry margarita we shared a pitcher of was great! Not strong at all and not super sweet. I'm not a margarita kinda gal but this wasn't bad at all!I'd love to come again if I'm ever in this area of town!

Oh puerto vallarta, you are the most fabulous mexican place around. If puerto vallarta mexican restaurant has 1 million fans, I am their biggest. If they had one fan, it would be me. If puerta vallarta mexican restaurant on Beulah Church Rd had no fans, then i am dead. I love this place.

Open in a snow day! Love this place! The food is amazing. By far the best salsa in Louisville.

Food is delicious and authentic but the live music can be loud and distracting if you are with a group.

This place used to be good, I'm not sure what happened. The food is incredibly greasy it tasted like it was drowned in oil. Our waitress seemed to be ignoring us the whole time while she sits and laughs with other coworkers. No thank you I'll take my business elsewhere.

Food is a hit or miss. Don't get the steak nachos, you'll be feeling sick for hours after you eat since it was chewy and soaked in grease. Portion sizes are shrinking severely and the prices only continue to go up. Service wasn't good. Hasn't been the past few times at the establishment. Slowly going downhill overall. Hardly anyone there and the service was just not there for my guests and I. Won't be back. Taking my business elsewhere.
