Poynter's Iron Pit

Richmond's only real hardcore gym, welcoming powerlifters, bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts of all types and experience. Open since December, 2010, membership is month-by-month, with no contracts and no new member fee.Constantly growing in equipment, they just recently added a Monolift for heavy squatting. It has bands, chains, kettlebells, lots of heavy iron and a welcome, hardcore attitude that encourages you to push to be your very best. It's been one of the very best things about my move to Kentucky from California.
