Porterhouse BBQ

I'm obsessed with this place. I've been twice now, and I keep thinking about it. First visit I had pulled pork, and it was good for sure, but I tried some of my husbands brisket and was dying for more until my 2nd visit. Next time I got the brisket I wanted, and my husband got the pork belly. Again, I'm craving that pork belly. I also loved the ribs, but the pork belly and brisket are the best things I've tried. J heard the salmon is good, but they usually don't have it til 2pm. I've always been looking for a good BBQ place in Lexington other than my favorite (Blue Door), and Porterhouse is it. I think it is equally as good as Blue Door. We're so lucky to have 2 excellent BBQ places in town!!

I went back to Greyline to see if anything new had been added, and to check out Porterhouse. I ordered the tacos --- one brisket and two pork belly with slaw and green chiles. Your choice of meat. (Ask for extra chiles.) It was huge, stuffed with meat. I drizzled a little of their bourbon sauce on it. I only got through the one taco. I needed a break between tacos and took home the other two. Outstanding Q. It's a tiny place with only 4 tables inside and two picnic tables outside. The guys are super nice. This is definitely a must try.132

Yum, yum, yum!! Everything was seasoned to perfection and had so much flavor! The bbq sauce was insanely good too! They were out of the smoked cabbage when I got there but definitely coming back to get it next time! Well done!

This was a great meal! If you like authentic smoked BBQ, check out Porterhouse. We enjoyed pulled pork, fall apart tender brisket, amazing ribs and pork belly burnt ends...excellent! The portions were quite large with very reasonable prices.The sides were equally tasty, we had Mac and cheese, green beans and amazing smoked cabbage! All were perfectly seasoned and not cooked to mush. The owner couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating...he gave us several samples of meats we didn't order, so we could try a little of everything. Smart business man! We have no pictures...we were hungry and didn't have time to stop for pictures!...We will definitely return!

My husband and I think this is some of the best BBQ we've had. Not to mention their bourbon BBQ sauce. It's something special. I usually do not touch any kind of BBQ sauce with my smoked meats, because I generally find them too syrupy, too fake, too tomato paste-y.This sauce is a perfect balance of tangy, sweet, with a hint of spice that compliments the flavors without overpowering them, or searing your mouth before you can finish tasting the full flavor profile. It's interesting and the bourbon is just that special kick to send it over the edge, without feeling like you're downing a shot of maker's mark.Honestly, go here if just for the sauce.

We ate at Porterhouse inside Greyline Station for the first time today. Food was fast and service friendly! We had the BBQ bowls. The chicken was tender and lightly seasoned (definitely not dry). Mac and cheese was solid (not soggy) with good amount of cheese. The bourbon BBQ sauce was tasty!

Came to our local brewery to watch UK football game and ate from this food truck. I ordered the barbecued salmon, green beans, and grilled cabbage. I am a professed green bean snob, but these were perfectly seasoned and delicious. Cabbage was ok for cabbage, but that's what you get when you're cutting carbs.The salmon is exceptional, my favorite dish by far. I've tried to order it two other times the food truck was in town, but they ran out, so get there early for salmon!

Definitely the best BBQ I have had since moving to Lexington, bar none. On Saturday he smokes salmon, and it's absolutely fantastic; we stop in most weeks to get an order for lunches for the week.

Ate here for 1st time yesterday. Got a lb of brisket to go. Decided to try a taste before leaving. It was awesome. Tender & juicy. Lots of smokey flavor the way I like it. We told the owner it was delicious & it was our 1st time but wouldn't be our last. He gave us a sample of ribs & they were delicious too. Everybody was very friendly

Exceptional BBQ. I had pork, chicken and brisket tacos - all are topped with chilis and some amazing coleslaw. DH is a big eater and got the ribs + 2. He couldn't finish it. Their in-house sauces are both delicious but I favored the sweet and hot combo. They even brought out some brisket DH to try. Great service, people and food! 10/10 will return the next time we're in town!
