Pleasant Valley Shake Shoppe

The Shake Shoppe is our go to stop when we want a tenderloin. Not many restaurants offer a Texas tenderloin in the area, I believe there are only a few. They have fantastic fried mushrooms and good onion rings too. There isn't a ton of seating, but it is roomy and most people tend to get their food to go. They have cute decorations that the kids always talk about while waiting on our food. The service has always been friendly and even when we have ordered for 6 people once they didn't get a single thing wrong. That means a lot. I highly recommend the Shake Shoppe for not only shakes and ice cream, but their food too. It's all good here.

A great little spot in Ohio, we were road-tripping from WV to IN and took a detour to grab some ice cream. It was a hot day and this shop hit the stop. Great prices too, and they have a pretty large menu as well. Besides ice cream, shakes, flurries, and sundaes, they also serve fair-like foods such as Coney dogs, cheese curds, fries, burgers, and more.They have a drive-thru, walk-up window, and indoor counter for ordering. You can eat inside, outside, or take it to-go! They serve Velvet ice cream, we tried the Apple Crumble, Black Cherry, and Buckeye. The shakes are generous and affordable (under $4 for a large shake!). You won't find fancy frills here, but you'll find a simple, small-town older ice cream shop and friendly customer service from the young adults working inside.

Best little ice cream shop in the county. Great prices and fun family atmosphere. Kind of small, but the food is worth it.
