Ordered a large pepperoni mushroom pizza for pickup. Order came to $13.75, but a large one topping pickup is only $10. Those are some expensive mushrooms. Good tasting pizza though! Just the right amount of cheese and very tasty pepperoni on a thin, crisp, reminiscent of a saltine cracker-style crust. Well cooked and not overdone. Good customer service. I was greeted when I entered and told my pizza would be coming out of the oven in a couple minutes, and it did. Service with a smile. I'll be back and wise enough to order the special next time. What I ordered was a little overpriced, but love to support locally owned businesses... especially when they have a good product and hire local Zane Trace Pioneers for staff.

Tried the new pizza place and I have to say the pizza is good and prices are good. I have tried 2 pizzas and a salad. The owner and employees are very friendly and helpful. Be nice to see them open later but since they just opened I am sure they are working out the kinks!

First and last time visiting. We called ahead and asked for their large one topping special for $10 and asked about subs. We decided on their Italian sub called the Gondola. When we went over the sub menu, it was the exact replica of the Cardo's sub menu, names and all. We asked to have the sub toppings put on the side but the young girl said they didn't have anything to put it in. We asked for a salad container, a piece of foil, anything but she ignores all of that and told us they were very busy so they couldn't do it. Finally, we asked for only half of the sub to have toppings. She agreed to that. Told us 30 minutes. We headed out and got there after about 35 minutes. When my husband went in to get our order. Nothing was ready. The girl that took our order swore she gave it to the cook but he didn't have it and they couldn't find out ticket. So, my husband ordered again. They told him 6 minutes. He went inside after the cook came to the door to let us know our order was ready. My husband came back to the car and we tried a hot piece. Flavorless crust, flavorless sauce, bland cheese, pepperoni was flavorful. The sub is a joke. 3 pieces of paper thin ham and a few pepperonis. Not a "gondola" at all.The cook did end up putting the toppings on the side. Pizza was 14" and sub 8". I wouldn't recommend this unless you had no other choice. Apparently, special requests are a problem and there is obviously no thought put into the taste of their food or the quality of their customer service.

Jeremy Clifford-owner of Pizza Pioneer contracted my company Ohio Mechanical Inc. to construct and install 2 pizza ovens. Work was performed over a 2 week period. We never received payment. Multiple tries to cload Marcy him. Finally, he answers the phone and tells me: check is in the mail. It never arrived. Many lies followed: "stamps on the envelope...."Never happened. I just walked out of chillcothe small claims court. Jeremy Clifford was served but failed to show up. He now has a judgement against him personally and his business. If you subscribe to buying pizza from a thief, keep buying from Jeremy Clifford. He has no integrity. Tom BloomerOwnerOhio Mechanical Inc.
