We finally used our giftcards to come here and paint - then won two more! So we will definitely be back! If you check-in on Yelp or Facebook you get to spin a wheel to win prizes :)Last week we painted "Joy" on canvas and they showed us how to add lights to make it unique. We went on a Wednesday, so wine was $5 a glass. The instructor did a good job and played fun, upbeat music. Another member of the staff walked around to help people while painting. They had a blow dryer to speed up the drying process. It's not really my thing because I'm impatient - but I don't mind going once in a blue moon with friends or as a date.

I always have so much fun at this place. My friend and I go a few times a year as way to hang out and relax and paint. We used to get together and paint at our houses and follow YouTube videos but it was never the same. The staff here is so friendly and they're very knowledgeable. You do not have to be an artist when you come to these things. The classes are taught by professional people who teach you step by step how to paint the design for the day. And they also encourage the class to step outside the boundaries of the colors they have picked and the designs they chose. Say for instance I hate the color pink. Our design called for a pink but I wanted more purple. I could easily put whatever color I wanted in this design and it be totally ok. My friend also drew some anime character on her cliff design instead of a little girl. That was ok too! The staff encourages creativity! I highly recommend coming to one of these classes. If you're a little nervous, don't be. They have a bar you can buy yourself a little liquid creativity for a decent price and the next thing you know, you will have the next Mona Lisa to take home.

We took my mother in law here to celebrate her birthday. She loved it! She had us all pose with our paintings at the end for a photo. We had an artist, former art major, and an art teacher in our group. I was worried that we would end up with very similar, generic paintings- but that was not the case at all. There was lots of room for self expression and creativity- the instructor encouraged it in every step. We had a fourth in the group who was very worried that his painting wouldn't come out well. The instructor gave him lots of encouragement and some suggestions that really helped him out and made him feel more comfortable. He was very happy and surprised with his results. When we ordered our wine they let us try out a couple different ones to see which would suit our tastes. Very nice of them- they did not have to do that. We also brought a small charcuterie to snack on with our wine. I was a little hesitant about that since I don't food where I art. Art is messy people! But it was fine and it wasn't weird at all to have brought our own snacks. It was a great evening, perfect for a birthday celebration, and I would go again.

Who knew that in just two hours I could go from garish to Gaugin!?I recently attended Pinot's Palette as part of a bachelorette evening and can highly recommend it as an alternative to the typical festivities that include feather boas, whistle necklaces and dollar bills, if you get my drift. A male friend of mine thought it was a raunchier joint when I said the name, "Pinot's Palette" though. Say it out loud and you might hear what he did ;-0 Here's what you need to know if you go. All the information below is current as of 3/2/2012: -- $35 per person for a 2 hour lesson-- Wine costs extra ($6/glass when I went)-- You can bring your own food-- Sign up in advance online or pay at the door-- 21 and up onlyI got my liquid courage before I picked up my paint brush - I'm no Rembrandt, but a convincing Riesling might have me thinking otherwise. Speaking of Riesling, the one they served was delicious and crisp without being too sweet. Instructors lead a 2 hour lesson in which the whole class paints the same picture. It's easier than it sounds, but I still found myself craning my neck to compare my pointellism skills to some of the other girls' -- was I mixing colors just right? Was my brush stroke too broad? Would this even look remotely like the demo painting once I finished? Surprisingly, it did! The fact that I claimed my own painting and not my neighbor's at the end proves that any artistic numbskull can do a decent job. Props to Pinot's Palette (or maybe just Pinot=D) for a great time with an even better souvenir!

Fun girls night out! Or girls and guys! Everyone there looked like they had a wonderful time. It was great to be given some guided instruction and then to continue on with your creative self to end up with your very own masterpiece to hang on a wall in your abode! :) I have been here twice now. Once with two of my girlfriends doing the Paint Your Own Fleur-de-lis and once I rented the party room and invited some friends. Both times were an absolute blast! They sell wine and beer and the staff is very friendly and upbeat. You must be 21 years old and you can't bring in your own alcohol - against the ABC rules! The beer and wine are priced like in a restaurant so no big surprises. The paint and canvas and brushes are supplied with the class fee. Will definitely do this again!

I tried Pinot's Palette for the first time on Valentine's Day 2016 (I say "the first time" because I will DEFINITELY be back!)My girlfriend and I were here, as were more than a dozen other couples (it WAS Valentine's Day). The classes are guided but creativity is encouraged. The class is easy enough for anyone to pick up but challenging enough to be enjoyable. I have little to no artistic talent but my painting didn't look half-bad at the end!The staff is helpful, and can assist you if you make a mistake you'd like fixed. There are different classes to choose from; go on their website and choose the painting you want to tackle. Some sessions are alcohol-free family events. Some are not. We specifically chose one with booze. :)I was surprised at the wine and beer choices. I would have expected a simpler bar but there are more than enough options. And the prices are fair. Cash and cards are accepted. Also, be sure to snag a Pinot's promotional pint glass or wine glass for $10 while you're here. We had a wonderful time here and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for fun and creativity (....and wine).

Been going to Pinot's for art therapy for about two years now - SO WORTH IT! The instructors in the studio are a tight knit, friendly crew who are talented in both art and walking you through creating your own piece of art even if you haven't held a paint brush before, ever. I have had some art background (thank you, elementary school and an elective art class at a university!), plus some doodling drawing experience, and sessions at Pinot's have been helping me learn, create, and relax. Highly recommend!
