I recently tried Pina Fiesta at the behest of family who wanted to go out for Mexican. For me, Pina Fiesta was ok.I would say that everything was on par with El Nopal, but my personal favorite dish to order is Papa Nachos and Pina Fiesta's weren't close to as good as El Nopal's or most other Mexican restaurant versions. The margaritas were decent and chips and salsa were ok. They have karaoke and I thought that was neat. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to avoid either. Very middle of the road.

Great little spot fun atmosphere excellent service, food fiesta shrimp was tender & mouth watering tasty. Tacos chicken and Carnitas was on point. Margarita's multiple was great. First visit warrants many returns to sample more entrees. Busy place, parking lot only. Clean facilities. Full bar separate from dining area. Wi-Fi not sure.

My friend's favorite Mexican place is Pina Fiesta. I've never been there because it's off Dixie Highway and it's far from where I live. However I really wanted to spend time with a friend and be in a low-key atmosphere. So I made the trek, I drove out to Dixie Highway. Now the sign is a bit washed out so you may pass by the restaurant on your way there. The building is light blue and there is a food truck outside selling Cuban pizzas. We were quickly seated when we arrived. We chose to sit outside. The location was comfortable and there was some covering so that way the sun would not make it too hot inside the seating area. We were quickly brought chips and salsa always a good sign when you're at a Mexican restaurant. We also got some queso. It was very good. It was the perfect compliment to the chips. The vegetarian menu was on the very back of the menu and they had a great combination of options. There were things that I have seen at other places, but there were things that were completely new to me. I ended up getting the vegetarian quesadilla, which contained a great number of veggies. She got a chicken chimichanga. It also looked very tasty. Our meals came out quickly and they were very hot. This was the most delicious option I've had at a Mexican restaurant as a vegetarian! Even the rice was good! For hot sauce, they had my favorite, Yucateca on the tables. This was an excellent experience, I know something that will take me back out to Dixie Highway- Piña Fiesta.

I love going here for the Molcajete bowls. I have had nothing at any other local Mexican restaurant that compares.

The Dixie Highway area of Louisville has a lot of great Mexican and Hispanic restaurants. This is not one of them. The food portions are nothing like what you see on the menu. It's almost like they throw everything on your plate at once. Like a farmer feeding a pig slop. A friend of mine found a hair in their food. Never a good sign of hygiene. I could say more. But like I stated above, there's better Mexican restaurants on Dixie.

The absolute best Mexican food I have ever had. The salsa, handmade guacamole, the entrees (I have had several)! Have been many places and just keep coming back here because no one compares!
