My wife and I have been loyal Pieratts customers for years. Our most recent experience with the service was not good. We bought a high end Bosch dishwasher that stopped working. The service department couldn't schedule an appointment for 7 days and was told it was still under the extended warranty. The tech had to order a part, most of week later we got a call from the service center saying the extended warranty had ended 2 weeks earlier and and we had pay for the part, so the part wasn't ordered until then. A week later we were notified the part was in and they couldn't finish the repair until another week later. Today the service tech finished the repair, 20 days after our initial contact. He expected payment before we ran the dishwasher to see if it was fixed properly. So my wife told him she wasn't paying until the dishwasher finished the cycle. He left before that point. A hour later she received a call from the service manager saying he flagged our account we couldnt call in any service problems. We have 2 other Pieratt's produces still under warranty that we paid extra for. I went to the store to talk to manager and was told the service department was a totally different part of Pieratts so he couldn't really help. He did say he would call the service manager to get our account from being flagged and he would offer a discount on a future purchase. The call from the service manager was out of line and my wife feels that had he called a man it message would have been different. The dishwasher is fixed, but 3 weeks is excessive and being told it's under warranty then not was bad and to top it off was the threatening call from the service manager. There are too many other business we can buy appliances from to have to deal with this kind of service.This portion is posted after Pieratts response to my review. My wife coordinated with Bosch for the free replacement part, not Pieratts. No one at Pieratts told us there was a warranty on the repair parts and labor.

RUN..RUN FAST... If there was a negative rating I would give it. A friend Bought appliances and I went to let the delivery company in and the delivery drivers hit my car and said nothing I contacted the store and they put me in touch with the delivery company they use B and H delivery company after less than a 1 minute conversation the owner said I'm a liar his driver is almost certain he didn't hit my car and they believe the driver. Contacted store again via email and haven't gotten any response. I would not recommend this store I have a wrecked car and will never grace this business again SHADY ON BOTH COMPANIES

My wife and I shopped at this store on Thursday to purchase a GE850 series washer and dryer. Salesman Nick C. waited on us. We left and shopped a little more ay a few other locations and decided we would go back to the store. Made several calls to Nick and left a message so we could be sure of the price before we returned. It's now Friday and no return call. We ended up purchasing the same machines at Lowes. It's surprising to me that a salesperson would not return a call and miss out on a $2,000+ sale opportunity.

I had an awesome experience with this store and employees. They were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I purchased a Maytag washer and dryer and they are still performing like new over a year later. The salesman even called and offered an extended five year warranty for a great price.

I've had a terrible experience with Pieratt's in Richmond, KY. I was told the furniture that I had chosen was in stock by Nick M. and it would be delivered within 2 weeks! After trying to reach him 3 days in a row (he was working) I finally just asked to speak to Mike, the manager. I was told that the furniture was on a delivery truck to Lexington and should have the items delivered within the week. I called back a couple days later to confirm and asked to speak to Mike again. He then told me that the furniture was out of stock and would have to be built and wouldn't be delivered until January ... no wonder Nick didn't return my phone call! Nick told us what we wanted to hear to make a sale and then left us hanging with NO information! Mike was very rude to me on the phone, so I went straight to the business and talked to him in person. I asked for the phone number of his boss, and I called her right in front of him. He denied telling me that my furniture was on the delivery truck to lexington. The lady I spoke to was nice, but nothing was resolved. For future folks who plan to purchase from Pieratt's I would say GO elsewhere!

The buying experience (washer dryer) in the Richmond store 6/30/18 was good, however the follow-up not so much.. About a week later we called to add a new fridge to our order, they said they would check stock.... A week later no call back. We needed a fridge in the new house so bought one at Lowes for the same price.. will I go to Pieratts again? Probably not.

I bought my refrigerator, dishwasher, and stove in Sept of 2018. My refrigerator started making noises. I called Pieratts service Dept to set up an appointment like they told me to if anything came up. The serviceman came to fix it. Well it's been fixed 4 times. The last time I told them I was concerned that the warranty was due to expire, both the agent and serviceman said it was an on going problem they would still take care off it. Last night the same problem. The fan for the ice maker sounds like a jet getting ready to take off. Called service this morning only to find out it's $92.95 to have someone look at it. They told me to call Frigidaire which I did only to find out Pieratts is NOT an authorized to do work for them. I should have called Frigidaire, even though they reimbursed Pieratts they will not count the 4 previous repairs. Now my choice is to buy a new warranty $114 through Frigidaire so if this continues I might be eligible for a replacement. Where as if I had gone to Frigidaire in the first place I might be happier today. Hate when a store does stuff like this! I'm heart sick.

Whenever possible, we like to deal with local merchants and since we once knew the original Pieratt founders, when we moved into a new home and needed a new washer and dryer, we went to Pieratt's in Richmond. The first set they delivered was missing the valve that regulated the amount of water flowing into the washing machine so that when it was connected to the water supply, it would not shut off. We picked out a second set - but that machine did not have the lid latch on it which allows the washing machine to fill. The third set we purchased would not spin the clothes at the conclusion of the wash cycle. That's right - 3 sets that were DOA! None of the three allowed us to do the first load of wash! And each time it would take weeks for them to bring us the next set. When we complained about it, their response was "We just sell them. We don't make them!" Now we know why they have such a bad reputation. Mega-store, here we come! Oh, and when we demanded a full-refund on the last set they insisted on keeping "the delivery change" but eventually did refund it. They had told us that delivery was free - since we live less than five miles from their store. They never offered us any compensation for the weeks of inconvenience and only offered a shallow, "We're sorry." We will never enter their stores again! Too bad that the current generation does not hold the same values of the founders.
