Pet Paws Luxury Grooming Salon

I took my golden retriever to Pet Paws a few weekends ago for a dog wash after my roommate recommended it to me. Since it was my first time going, the owner Phyllis gave me the rundown: there are three self serve tubs with different shampoos and condtioners. The tubs are raised and have a hose, which is nice, so you can easily stand while you give your dog a bath. Pet Paws is $15-per-dog, the price isn't contingent on time- a good deal for bigger dogs, maybe not as much for smaller ones. They also have a dryer station with different brushes for after the wash. What I like about Pet Paws is the convenience- its nice to be able to wash your dog and not have to deal with the "clean up" afterward- cleaning up the tub and washing the towels- all that jazz. Definitely will be back to Pet Paws!

Pet Paws is a great spot to take your pup for their bath time! The tubs are up high and they always have availability for a bin. I usually call ahead in COVID times but they have great products that smell good! The price is $15 and not contingent on time or anything like that. It beats clogging your drains at home with dog hair! I like that they are a local business as well so we try to visit them vs. big chain stores. If you're someone who prefers getting your dog groomed by someone else that is an option there as well. Check them out if you live off the Nicholasville Rd area!

Visited for the first time to use their self service bathing and was thrilled! Three nice large tubs and drying/grooming stations. Shampoo, conditioner and any necessary grooming tools are all included for the incredible price of $15!!I plopped my little guy in the tub and was able to take my time washing and conditioning his hair. What a dream come true! They have industrial strength dryers and he dried in like 15 minutes - amazing. I used their brush and grooming scissors to trim a little of his hair off. Since my peanut is almost 14, he was having trouble standing so I couldn't do the full trim I was hoping to, but that's on us, not Pet Paws. They are providing an amazing self service option and I cannot recommend them enough to anyone needing a nice place to go to bathe their pup. I cannot wait to go back!!Pro tip - do not miss the delicious smelling finishing spray!! Heavenly scent!

My #1 place to take my baby! I have a one and a half year old aussiedoodle and I've been bringing her here since she was about 6 months. As she is a long-haired dog who loves any type of water/puddle/etc, she gets some bad matting that even my brushes can't tame. The sweet owner has always been so helpful and gracious with us (we have had experiences with extremely disgusting and rude behavior from groomers with previous dogs)! I'm 20 years old and my parents have her brother dog, we both take our pups here and every time I pick her up she looks absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond and I love that they are considerate of your dog's lifestyle when grooming them (I.e my dog spends all summer at the lake so they cut her really short and focus a lot on her belly where her life jacket sits)!! All I'm saying is any type of doodle hair is HARD to deal with and groom, but these women absolutely kill it every time!!

Me and Stevie absolutely LOVE pet paws! The people are so nice and helpful and for someone like me who is in a college apartment without a bath tub, it's a great way to take my dog to get her weekly bath mess free. They provide literally everything and she always comes out smelling so nice. I really recommend pet paws!

Pet Paws fired the groomer I was scheduled with and canceled my appointment without notice. I only found out when I showed up to drop my dog off for his appointment. Pet Paws refused to reschedule while I was at the location. They insisted I had to call and reschedule. I have since called to reschedule twice and have not gotten a call back.

Based off the reviews we gave a chance! Our appointment to drop off was at 9 we arrived at the old address which wasn't updated in had to do research to find the new one. Pulled up to the new one at 8:50 just for a lady waiting... 9 o'clock came no call no show we stayed for 20mins. Lack of communication and professionalism will loose a customer for life. Very disappointed!

No self serve. Door was locked although person was sitting behind desk. Extra fourteen characters.

Good price and cool workers who do a good job. I just really wish you all were better about answering the phone. I always get a call back but sometimes it can be a hassle to get an appointment made

They don't answer phone calls, I've called three times and have yet to even get a pickup or call back. Horrible.
