Peking Restaurant

I ordered online from their take out , the service they use to place an order "Beyond Menu" I really liked & found it was easy to use & gave you the great option for "special instructions" for each item placed . The chicken I ordered was overcooked or old, very tough, the breading however was good & the vegetables were fresh. Overall not impressive enough to return, but in all fairness this was my first time eating there & it was a late Sunday night order placed minutes before closing time.

This little place, tucked into a strip mall in Latonia, is a hidden gem. When I moved to Taylor Mill in 2017, I must have come here once or twice a week; so often that they started to know me (and my order) when I walked in! It was always busy when I visited Peking, with several families eating in and several more people waiting for takeout. It literally is the best "cheap" Chinese takeout I have found in the NKY area, hands down. I moved to Florence a couple of years ago so stopped coming by, but my fiancé and I decided to make the 15 minute drive from Florence over to Peking Restaurant last Saturday night for takeout, and we were not disappointed - great food at a great price and they even recognized me from years before. Just awesome people, awesome food, and awesome prices. Highly recommend this little place! Now I am wondering if it's worth the 30 minute round trip from Florence to get food from these guys more often...Don't listen to the haters on here - try it for yourself.

Laundry day! I was waiting on my clothes spinning in the wash, and had a craving for Kung Pao, because the good smells and people walking out with great big bags of yummy carryout forced me to place an order. My first order at any new Chinese place I visit is Kung Pao. This one was a good representation for the NKY area, as it was pretty light on the spice factor, but typical carrot, celery, baby corn mix was super crunchy, with lots of peanuts! I shoulda got the side of chili oil to warm things up, but I know for next time. The eggroll was crispy, seasoned with the 5 spice.

I want to let this be known, the restaurant staff is kind and quick with the orders.But the overall ambiance is that of a rotting crack house in Brightmoor, Detroit.. But the overall quality of food, is absolutely terrible. I tried the Happy Family, since I enjoy a little bit of everything. It was very poorly made, and must've had some bad meat/seafood in the mix. I blame myself for trusting an establishment located in Latonia, KY that serves seafood combos. With that being said, I also had the Crab Rangoons, soggy and in a lack of flavor. The sweet and sour sauce was way too thick and just had this bad taste to it.The days following, I experienced the worst stomach pains and SEVERE diarrhea.Needless to say, I do not recommend.

The only troubles with Peking Restaurant is that it's too delicious and too close to my house I cannot say enough good things about this place. Definitely my favorite Chinese food, but also one of my favorite local eateries in general. The menu is huge (this particular time I ordered Chicken Mei Fun, Bourbon Chicken, Cheese Wontons, Steamed vegetables, white rice and wonton soup)The portions are big (I'm going out of town on Saturday, cleaned out my fridge and trying to live off take out this week-so far I've managed to make 4 meals out of my order and am pretty sure I can get 3 more meals out of whats left)The prices are so good! (This order plus delivery only cost me $30...about $4 per meal for 7 meals)They deliver! You can order online! They are friendly! The food is always hot and delicious! Stop reading and go order some right now!....

The chicken fried rice is great, there wasn't anything like peas or bean sprouts but the chopped onions and chopped green onions had a great taste. It is very solid overall!

They forgot multiple items of my order and I called and asked if I can get them and we had to wait on a call back from the restaurant. We then had to drive back to the restaurant for the food. It tastes very good but frustrating having to go back out. The staff were very nice when ordering.

Great food, love everything I've had here, the Crab Rangoon is the best I've ever had and I love their orange chicken. Great food and great prices, they are generous with the portions and have great egg rolls, love love love. This is my favorite Chinese place and even after moving a bit out of the way I still make the trip when I'm craving Chinese, always worth it!

Horrible horrible horrible. Old grease. Burnt rice. Fatty chicken. Dirty dining room. No bathroom. No custimer service. Save your money and stomach.
