Very reasonably priced that includes a drink- there aren't many Chinese buffets, but this one is pretty good for the money. Some items have been Americanized, but my husband used to work here and this place has his favorite fried chicken drumsticks/drumettes. It's a little heavy on the salt and pepper, but should fit your craving for Chinese food in this area. They even offer hot jasmine green tea as well as sweet tea. My favorite are the black pepper shrimp and chow mein here.

A truly great Chinese buffet in a place that one would never expect food of this quality. Excellent buffet with all great staples would would expect on a Chinese buffet. A must visit if you're in the vicinity.

Wasn't impressed at all with Peking. The food was greasy, over cooked and way over priced.

As far as Chinese buffets go, this place is top notch! The food and service was great and the prices are reasonable!

We went during dinner hours. For a 9 year old and two 13 year olds to eat here was $50. The food was over cooked and very dry. Several hours after eating there the children got very sick. After taking the children to the hospital they confirmed the children had got food poisoned. I called the manager about the children getting sick after eating there and he would not offer a refund or anything. I would not recommend anyone to eat here.

The food is bland and unseasoned. The owners have no Chinese competition and have tried to Americanize all their dishes. For true Chinese food, go 20 miles north to Paintsville's Mandarin House.

I ate here for my birthday last Tues. I was eating from my first plate of food when I saw a very black hair sticking out of the fold of a slice of chicken. I probably wouldn't have noticed it except this was moo goo gai pan which has unbreaded chicken in white sauce. A larger slice of chicken was folded over and the hair was noticeably sticking out of the chicken. Sickening! Also the service, or lack there of, was awful. After sitting probably 10 minutes with empty drink glasses, we began trying to get a server's attention which still took time. No it wasn't busy there at all. Our server just wanted to stay behind a curtain most of the time rather than refill customers drinks. This was the worst experience I've had in a restaurant for a long time and was the worst I've EVER had at this place. I hadn't been there for at least 1 1/2 years and apparently this Peking has taken a steep slide down the slope. I WON'T BE BACK next birthday for sure!!!
