Peecox Bar & Grill

It's a dark bar with a fun shaped bar top which allows the maximum amount of people to be able to sit at the bar. It has an open kitchen as soon as you walk in the door. The employees are friendly. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by a cook and then the bar tender. If you like the smell of cigarettes then this is the place for you. I don't smoke so I chugged my drink that I couldn't taste the vodka in it and left. This place also has 3 slot machines. It seems like it'd be a nice place if they didn't allow smoking inside. 1 because of the indoor smoking. I don't even know that was still allowed anywhere anymore.

I went here to see a local band, Southern Highway. Great band. I was a touch peckish. And I'm not a drinker anymore. Lo and behold, this place has a pretty impressive menu. I'm a bit of a doubting Thomas until proved wrong. And they serve food late!!!! I believe the grill was open until 1am?? Service was fine, the place is a bit of the late 80s but clean. But the food was shockingly good. I had chili and a chicken tenders meal. I hate Raisin canes. Underdone tasteless chicken and junk sauce that costs extra. I'll take peecoxs any day of the week. And I'llHave it late if I want too. That's a rare find these days. And they have great bands. $5 cover, but hey, help support local musicians right? Glad I found this place/

Chill dive bar. My friend and I were on our way to Texas road house and decided to check this place out instead. Honestly the steak was delicious and a great price! Bartenders were chill as fuh. Thank you Jess!

Smokey after so many bars that don't allow smoking. Good music and vibe. No table service but none expected, go to the bar and order

A dive bar with the potential to be an awesome place as their food is reasonably good and they have live music on Fridays and Saturdays. However, as this business is in KY they allow smoking so you leave with your clothes and hair smelling of cigarette smoke. Due to the cigarette smoke the only time I would go is if a friend was playing there in their band.

Well, if you smoke this is your place. They can still smoke inside the bar. Yuk!! Local place with that local flair. Typical bar food, nothing fancy. Not a place I would come back to.

Greasy diveThey said that there would be entertainment, and there was not . no one came to table people were coming in and getting raided. I'm going to the counter, so I went to the counter and waited and finally got something to drink and a menu.. I think the salad is out of a bag and the the food was not good at all

I was here for business and stopped in 2 nights in a row. The service was outstanding and the burger was one of the best I've ever had. Being from out of town, o do t know much more about the place but damn, it was good.

Sorry, no pics. BUUUUTTT, I really liked this bar. Very friendly bartenders, open layout and very chill. It's just a local little place but that was nice. Drinks were good and service was quick. We had friendly banter with the bartenders and we also got some food which was also good. All in all, a great experience and we'll definitely be back!

Not sure why this place has a bad reputation. It's become my local watering hole. The boys and I come have work and we've always been treated great. No problems here. Definitely recommend. Oh and the Cod sandwich is $7 and amazing! (Compared to the shit hole Duck down the street charging $12!)
