I wanted to provide an update since my review is about a year old and I'm still bringing my dog here all of the time and just how happy he and I both are with this place! All I have to do is say "Jack jack, do you want to go get a hair cut?" and my dog perks up and runs to sit by the back door. He loves the two owners to pieces and always dances around when he walks in, super excited to see them.I've had animals all of my life and I've taken them to various groomers ranging from Georgetown to Lexington to Richmond and I've never been happier with a facility than I am with this place.I will never bring my pup anywhere else!To Abby J. below:There are leash laws in Lexington and I'm glad they said something to you because if I witnessed you with your dog off of a leash (whether people were in the parking lot or not) I would have said something to you as well! It takes only one time and one second for your dog to attack someone else or to run out into the road and end up injured or dead. If you're too lazy to leash your dog for 5 seconds, you're too lazy to own a dog.I also find it hard to believe they had an attitude with you over the time you would arrive to pick up your dog. I work in Georgetown and have, many times, called them to apologize and say that with traffic and the time I get off work, that I wouldn't be there until right at 6pm and they were perfectly fine with that. However, I also chose to give them more than a 15 minutes notice because I'm not rude. ;)I would venture to guess that it's likely your behavior and attitude that resulted in a poor customer experience because I've never once had a single hint of unprofessional-ism from either of the owners. You knew well before 5:45pm that you wouldn't arrive until close to 6pm and the fact that you had to take New Circle during rush hour didn't cross your mind at all or factor into the time you gave? Lol It sounds like you were the problem in this situation.

When choosing a dog groomer for my dog Willie I was naturally nervous. He's my partner in crime and a huge part of my life. I had used PP for daycare and was never anything short of completely satisfied! So when I started to look for a groomer they were on my list of choices for sure. After lengthy consideration I decided to entrust my little buddy to them. If you are in the same boat and a little apprehensive on where to take your dog look no further. This is the spot, and the lady that works there is nothing less than a complete professional who did a phenomenal job. My dog was cute before, now my little Jack Russell corgi mix is downright dapper. I cannot recommend this business enough, and in opinion they are the best to be had in Lexington.

First off, a paradise this is not. It's a little office building off Georgetown Road that you would never see if you didn't know it was there. I moved to the area from Chicago in August, I know that looks can be deceiving, and its cheaper than some other places, so we gave it a shot. I didn't really get to see much of the place when dropping my dog off, but they seemed friendly enough, so I said, why not? Our dog, Fez, seemed happy when we picked him up, so we took him a couple days a week for about a month. Today, I caught some attitude while dropping him off in the morning because I guess I had forgotten to email and let them know he would be coming. Also, my pup came in off leash (there was no one in the parking lot or inside). I was told he needed to be on leash when brought in. Ok, he has come in off leash the last few times. Why wait till now to say something? So whatever, I thought maybe she was having a bad day. THEN, when on our way to pick him up, GPS says with traffic, we will be there right at 6 when they close. We call around 5:45 to let them know we may be cutting it close, but to go ahead and charge our credit card and toss him out the door when we pull up. They then start threatening to board him tonight (alone, in a dark room he's never been to before, in a crate, which they know he's terrified of). My husband is telling her we will literally be there AT 6. They continue talking, I'm not sure what is being said, but my husband is getting mad. When he hangs up, our GPS says we will be there at 6:02 and I start speeding and cutting people off. THEN the exit off Circle 4 is backed up half a mile, so I go to the next exit and backtrack. Meanwhile, my husband is back on the phone, explaining the traffic situation and saying we may be 2 minutes late. They say they're going to board him and we'll get him tomorrow. We're flipping out at this point, when she finally concedes and says she won't stay a minute past 6:15. We pulled in at 6:01. My husband went in and they didn't even have the dog ready to go. Needless to say, we found a new doggie day care immediately, and I'm happy paying more for their lovely customer service.

We've been using this place as our doggy daycare for our four month old lab-pit mix for a few weeks now. They're reasonably priced and our pooch really seems to enjoy himself at their location. They have all sizes and ages that visit so he is very well adjusted to other dogs. Easy drop off and pick up which is a huge time saver in the mornings.

Absolutely horrible and almost lost our dog due to negligence by Sherry and Lynn (who we don't know if she is a real person or not). We boarded our 3 dogs while we were out of the country and Sherry said that there was a problem with the zoning of their building and that they could not board dogs overnight there. We wanted to drop our dogs off to see the place, but Sherry insisted on picking our dogs up in her car. She picked them up in wire crates with no bottom and our dogs were shaking they were so scared. Because of the zoning issue Sherry said that she and Lynn would have to board our 3 dogs and the other 8 dogs in their homes. We wanted to see where they were staying and got a picture of an empty garage with no crates, beds or anything. We got a text from Sherry saying that the dogs would have to board at Lynns. A day into our trip, we received a message on voicemail from a man saying he had our dog who had gotten loose at a dog park in Lexington. We had told Sherry not to take our dog off a leash because he jumped fences and would be gone. She did not listen to this, took them to a dog park and if it weren't for this nice many calling us and taking our dog back to Sherry, he would be gone. When I asked where the dogs were staying and asked for pictures, she said that they were staying at Lynns but Lynn "couldn't handle the barking" of one of our dogs so they all had to go to Sherry's house. We had our family friends at the house and had Sherry drop our dogs off after 1 1/2 days of staying with her because of the lack of care and communication we received. If it had not been for the man calling us, we would never have even known our dog jumped a fence and ran away. We had to pay $360 up front and we have asked for a refund for a month now. Sherry said that Lynn was refunding our PayPal. It has not happened. Not only that but the 859-421-1793 phone number was Sherry's cell phone and she has disconnected it. Absolutely gut-wrenching experience that I pray never happens to anyone else. What a disaster.

We have been using this place for 4 years since we returned to Lexington from Chicago. Our dog (Pomeranian) always seems to love being there. The staff have always been friendly and professional, as well as warm and reassuring. We use both boarding and grooming services. We are happy we found a local, close-by, convenient and economical place that our pup just loves. We will definitely continue to return. However, I have referred several of my friends here, and they love this place for their dogs as well, and for that- I do wish there were some incentives related to referral fees. Either way, we will definitely use this place as long as we live in Lexington.
