We've been a couple of times now. Had the fish this last trip, they were out of coleslaw. Fish was well prepared & flavorful. We've both enjoyed breakfast here & it's always well prepared. The soup beans are an excellent choice as well. Service is efficient & very friendly. The whole place is small town quaint, well lit & nicely spaced out.

Came home for girlfriend trip with high school friends and was so excited to find this place. I grew up on L&J and Edmonds and wish we more local spots. Please support local!! Especially when it's so so good. Everything was fresh and perfect. Service was friendly and prices was from back in time for this Louisville girl.

Yelp did not let us down! We had a delicious and filling breakfast here. After we got our beverages and ordered, the server brought a couple of apple fritters, on the house. The fritters were delicious!Hubby and I both ordered the breakfast skillet, his with bacon, over easy eggs and a biscuit, mine had bacon, scrambled eggs and toast. Everything was delicious and we ordered 6 apple fritters to go! (Great marketing on the part of Pappy's.) Only thing that would have been better is butter on the toast instead of margarine. Thanks for a great breakfast experience.

Pappy's served up just what we needed - delicious food and warm hospitality. Open since 2017, don't be fooled, this strip mall diner is amazing. Fresh, yummy, home cooking is here. I loved how caramelized the veggies in my omelette were. Yes, get the fritters and buy some to go for your best friend. COVID 19 safety is being observed here. We loved all of it, and you will too!

The food is homemade. Every thing was delicious. It's a small place but the food is out of this world. It's the best little hidden place in a strip mall. You won't be disappointed. The service is great too. Very friendly.

Excellent biscuits and gravy. I thought I had 4 biscuits but it was just 2 huge ones cut in 4. If I lived closer I would come more often. Would highly recommend at-least for breakfast that's all I had. Great friendly staff. Inside could use a little pepping up but I was there for food not fancy dining just good home cooked breakfast and they didn't disappoint.

Very disappointed in the food. Chicken and dumplings were supposed to be like home cooking, but the chicken was canned and the dumplings were just big balls of dough! Service was good though.

Was very disappointed in my order today. Hadn't eaten there in a while and thought I would give a carryout a try. I ordered spaghetti. When asked if I wanted, bake spaghetti, I replied no just regular spaghetti. I asked if it came with a side such as a side salad she replied no just garlic bread. When I picked it up, my first thought was oh this is awful light. Is this my order? Yes, it was my order. There was enough spaghetti probably for a child's serving, and two pieces of garlic bread laying on top of the spaghetti to become soggy. The sauce was average in taste with maybe just a little too much oregano. Needless to say there's no value for your money on this meal. Spaghetti is one of the cheapest meals that can be fixed. Amount charged $12.50. I am aware that in today's financial climate, a lot of places are having a rough time. The cost/serving size of this item should be reevaluated and brought in line with some of your other dishes. Next time I'll just go to Giovanni's, not only more spaghetti but cheaper. There a serving of carryout spaghetti is $7.49 and an order of garlic bread is $3.49 total cost $10.98.
