Oscars

My husband & I stayed at the Holiday Inn for 3 weeks. We had Oscars for breakfast everyday and it was divine EVERY TIME. So much flavor, great portions. However, the best part is the waitress Lisa! She is ON it every morning, remembers names, always has a smile on her face, and is a literal beam of sunshine. That woman deserves a raise! Truly the best of the best. As for dinner & the bar, we ordered room service twice and everything was perfect. We got a burger and we fully expected it to be soggy. It was as though we had it freshly served in the restaurant. We did wait quite a while (they said it would be 20 minutes and we waited 50), but they quickly called and explained they'd had a rush. We called around 6:30pm so it was understandable. Truly the best food and service. We were never disappointed. Drinks are fantastic and averagely priced. You can't miss with Oscar's!

Working there for a few weeks, have eaten at Oscars, actually the adjoining bar areas. I have had the berry salad, it was great and also the salmon and mahi mahi and they were as good as any restaurant and very reasonable. The only thing I would not recommend is the fish and chips - typical frozen patties with fries. Not good. OH they do get a +1 for having draft beer and a large 24+ YL for about 4.50.

Big banquet that day so our work placed our order that morning for 10 hard working people only to go to pick it up and they say we didn't order. Just great. We will never even consider using this restaurant. We were greatly disappointed. What poor service.

Great burgers and super tasty fresh salad. Wait staff friendly and attentive. Good specials for holidays and great for large groups with reservation.

The service at Oscars was very good and the hostess seated immediately. A great atmosphere on the inside and there was a nice bar area. There are two options when siting in the restaurant: lounge and dinning room area. The food however, was mediocre for the price.

I love Oscars. This is the place my friends and I go to celebrate birthdays. The food is always good. The service can sometimes be slow but that is not the case every time. We sit in the dining room but the bar area is nice as well. The atmosphere is good in the dining room and bar and the staff is normally very friendly. Oscars is also available for parties in their big party room. It is a very nice place.

We got here at 6:20 and didn't get our food until almost 8! Lasagna tasted like Stoufers. Bread had weigh too much garlic. My bill was $32 for lasagna and two glasses of wine.

the food was amazing! i really want to tip my hat to a lady that works there. her name was sara and i'm pretty sure she's new. i have been to this place a few tied and i do t remember ever seeing her but she seemed like she has worked there for a long time. sara was friendly and down to earth and really made my wife and i feel like we were the most important people in town without being over bearing. she offered the perfect suggestions. we will defiantly be back and will defiantly be looking for her to once again complete our dining experience.

I have stayed at the holiday many times for work. There is no better feeling after a long drive than getting to my hotel that has a great restaurant and bar. Jarred the bartender has amazing people skills and a great bartender. He remembers names, drinks and meals of people who come frequently. That is one of the best qualities of a bartender. They have a good selection of beers along with mix drinks. The menu is large but the food is better than expected for a hotel restaurant. The prime rib sliders are turkey amazing. I would highly recommend eating and drinking here.

This is the first opportunity to dine at the River House in the Holiday Inn. I met my daughter and 2 granddaughters (Both under age 2) I have to recommend the Pepper-Jack Mac-n-Cheese Bites. I generally do not order burgers but this one was very good. My daughter had the Salmon with Rice Pilaf and I tried it and agreed with her one the flavor of the rice and delicious, tender salmon. I am looking forward to my next visit so I can try other items on the menu!The server Terry was phenomenal. He was careful to move things out of reach of my granddaughter and asked if she would eat crayons instead of just handing them to her BEFORE we were seated. Terry knew the menu, gave us plenty of time to review the menu and answered all of our questions with a smile. When he brought the toddler's drink and food, he made sure to hand it to one of us to avoid an accident. Since my son-in-law had to work, he waited to put his to-go order in so it would be hot when we left. I hope the owner of this establishment knows what a great employee they have!!
