O'Bryan's Bar & Grill

This is a out of the way place worth the drive. The food is excellent the service is great if you're out and about take the time and vist this place.

Out in the middle of nowhere at an intersection outside of Owensboro...in this old looking building, you have a this surprisingly remodeled state of the art sports bar! O'Bryan's looks like an old general store but a brand new 2022 sports bar with TVs on every wall.You must be 21 to enter.I tried O'Bryan's because of burger week in Owensboro and I believe they were winners of 2021. Sadly not of 2022 but they would have received my vote.Their burger entry was the Maker's Melt. This burger was on buttered Texas toast with pepper jack cheese, bacon, and fried onion strings. What I loved most though was the bourbon flavored BBQ sauce that really sent this burger over the top.My fries were the perfect accompaniment to my burger and my sweet tea was refreshingly sweet!I want to come back and catch some games and explore more of the menu.

A nice little country place with good food and good service. The burgers are amazing and the pizza tasty.

Very cool atmosphere. Worth the 15 minute drive from Owensboro to see a thriving small country pub. Great food, great time surrounded by great folks. You never know who's going to walk through the door!! Norm!!!

Sat for 30+ minutes and not a single waitress/owner/bartender who even looked in our direction. Not a single word was spoken to us, we just kept getting run past. I hear lots of good things about this place and I understand COVID staffing, and this place was SUPER packed, but the staffing was just terrible. You can't expect 3 staff to take care of 80+ customers. We even went to the bar to try to order a drink and the bartender walked away then to start taking other orders, which seemed pretty rude.Update: went back today and it wasn't busy at all really. There were a few tables, but about half capacity. We waited for a few minutes and someone came to get our drink order, so we were already off to a good start. We waited a bit for our food but it was pretty good. The catfish was a big and tasted fresh. The service after we got our food was nonexistent and we again had to try and call someone down to get refills. The waitresses/bartender actively avoid eye contact and sprint past your table to avoid getting any questions/requests. It's pretty pathetic actually to have that few people there and seem to be sufficiently staffed just to watch them ignore you. The food was good, but I could get better service at McDonalds. 3 stars is generous for the encounters I've had.

We love the food !!! An the staff is amazing, most of the time. Our issue is often they don't order enough food for the crowd they pack in . If you in town an visiting diamond lakes stop in It is worth the stop just choose 2 options ...

We arrived at the nearby RV resort and were searching for dinner when we discovered this spot on the map. It had excellent reviews, but when we arrived, it didn't look like much. What a surprise! We ended up having an amazing burger and side salad. The food was great, and the service was even better--this place was a real gem. Don't overlook it!

Always tasty and fresh! Friendly, quick , casual but quaint and clean!! Friends are often surprised and pleased to add O'Bryans to their lists of " Gotta get down there more often.

Great place to go and eat especially their catfish every Friday! Great prices and great people!
