Number One Chinese

I asked a group I follow on facebook about a good Chinese restaurant and got the most suggestions from this place. So I with my husband decided to try this place. We drove up there and I ordered from the actual restaurant. First impressions: The place was spotless, clean and all of the employees were very friendly. Oh and the inspection was 100%. I got a shrimp dish and hubby got beef chow mein. My shrimp dish was amazing tons of large pieces of shrimp and were not flaked and rubbery and just the right amount sauce and vegetables. Hubby's beef chow mein was full of tender beef and not overwhelming with vegetables. Hubby got fried rice and it was real fried rice, none of that yellow rice. I did order the fried wanton and that had a funky taste. Not for me. Overall, I was very impressed and will visit again. Did not eat in, but like I said when I was there, the place was spotless!! And everyone was very nice!!

Was hesitating whether or not to post review - this was back in February.... Passing through the area. I had a taste for some Chinese food. I wasn't sure if this restaurant did call in orders, so I called them. If we are on the phone and I say "hello, how are you today?" The response shouldn't be "how May I help you" -- felt a bit rude & short, made me iffy about even ordering food (work on the customer service, I'm used to southern hospitality and this wasn't it!) Now to carry on to the food review I ordered orange chicken with vegetable lo mein. It came with an egg roll, and I also ordered some crab rangoons. Minus the phone interaction, the food was good. Everything came in decent portion sizes for what it was priced at. I will possibly try them again in the future

The food is always cooked to order and hot. Nice folks! I have had many items on their menu and visit the monthly.

First time trying this place out. We where greeted with a smile. Good customer service. They had a steady flow of customers coming in and out. We ordered a bunch combo meals. The food was tasty and flavorful and piping hot. My kids liked it so it's a thumbs up for me.

The food was ok, nothing exciting. Served with steamed rice and it was about $11. Moo goo gai pan, which is hard to mess up, but for the price it seems an expensive commodity.

Love this quick place next to Kroger. Their crab Rangoon are the best. Love garlic chicken

The food is very good. Lots of fresh veggies. I love the Chicken Szechwan Combo for $10. Very good deal and fills me up.

Ordered the General Tso's chicken over Lo mein noodles and was very satisfied. The young lady that waited on me was very polite and helpful in getting me what I wanted. This was the first time of trying this place and it will be my new location for Oriental food.

Its always the simple looking Chinese food places that are the best. Some previous reviewer said this is the best Chinese restaurant on Preston... it really is. I been avoiding the place because it is so small and unassuming. I called in an order for pepper steak, sesame chicken, and lo mein. For real the best lo mein Ive had in a while. Everything was so tasty. I look forward to ordering again.

This restaurant truly lives up to its name!!! Food was served hot and fresh for a very good price. We ordered the Hunan Chicken combo, and General Tso combo. Very great customer service and helpful workers. The menu is vast and delicious with substitutes and/or combo options. Dining area is very clean and a relaxing place to eat. We eat here at least once a week since we moved to Kentucky, and I would recommend this place to anyone!!!
