Neat place to visit in the area. Cheap ($5) per person admission fee, so minimal is today's economy. The wife I visited on our anniversary. She had me worried when she said we were going to a train station. I survived.

Found this gem in Versailles, KY. This place is for both young and old alike. There are working train displays that are fun to watch. One is from the old Purcell Dept. Store from Lexington, KY. Very cool. It was actually an old Lionel Sales demonstration set that Lionel sold to their dealers. The owner has much knowledge about trains and stories to share plus there are many nostalgic toys displayed throughout. Have Fun!

the owner, Winfrey Adkins engages in predatory practices. I am a 24 year old woman. He offered me a job as a "secretary" at his museum inventorying his trains, books, and dvds. His only available hours for me to work were 7pm to 11pm. When I knocked on the door at the Nostalgia Station, he answered in just his bathrobe saying he had just taken a shower. I expected him to change into clothes. He didn't and also locked the door behind me. He asked me to sort some movies. I sat on the floor sorting while he sat on the couch directly behind me with his legs spread and nothing underneath so I could see his privates. I asked for a smoke break, gathered my things, unlocked the door, and left as quickly as I could. I texted him once I got home and told him that he made me extremely uncomfortable and he replied with "sorry". I went to the police station and filed a report. Posting this so others can be aware to stay away from this man and his business.
