The line at 3:07 for a meet that was supposed to start at 3:00. About equally as long behind us.

Visited this multi-purpose facility to attend a job fair. This place has two parking lots located at each end of the building. According to their website they normally charge around $5 to park, fortunately it was free today. The place is huge, clean, and secure. Here they host sporting events and have areas for hosting conferences. Located at the building is a Thorton store and PNC ATM. It is located in the Russell neighborhood on Muhammad Ali. Outside they have picture of local Athlete along the walkway near the building. If I lived closer to it I would take advantage of the open outside track. Recommend checking out their website before going to it to get familiar with all they offer before visiting for the first time.

This is a nice arena sports complex that I've visited during an event on a Saturday. It's really well lit. It's really nice and very clean and new. It's a great location for people in the neighborhood to visit in experience.

Two years into the life of this magnificent facility I think it's safe to call it a great success. Put simply, this is a world class track and field building and it's attracting regional and national events. Two weeks ago the ACC Championships were held here, and last week I finally got to see an event in person, a masters level track & field championship. But I've been here before for conferences and I'm aware that they host other community events when the calendar isn't filled with track meets. I even see wrestling on the docket. When corporate money failed to come through for a much-hyped food port, it looked like yet another failed attempt to bring business to the West End. Credit the Urban League for beating a path to the doorstep of every deep pocket in town. In the end, they couldn't quite meet the $50 million price tag, but the loans will be paid off and the city won't be in the red for this amazing place. No TIFs were issued to pay for it. And it's state-of-the-art.As for me, I love the outdoor track, which blissfully has no fence around it, giving me an opportunity to drag my carcass around a 400-meter oval anytime I want. One of these days I hope to scoot around the 200-meter indoor track myself. When I do, please hide the cameras.

I absolutely love this places and the diversity of its usage. It's a gem in Louisville and an add to the city. I've been here when they first opened for an indoor college track meet and I was thoroughly impressed with the venue, layout, and resources. There are also rooms that can be reserved for meetings as well. I am also fascinated with the different types of events that are held here from parties to community health fairs. Way to go Louisville Urban League!

This venue is very spacious and has been used for many things. I've been here for community events, health and wellness fairs, entertainment and this particular event was a wrestling event. It is always clean, including bathrooms, and staff is always friendly and helpful.
