Writing a bit of an update to my previous review. Same rating, but wanted to give some extra kudos even though everything did not go as expected on my recent visit. I came back to Noble Funk for the annual clothes swap they allow my moms group to host in its space. This time around, they gave us the private events space on the side, as well as the gathering space around it. It was great! And probably the best part of this is that we get to swap clothes and enjoy beer and pizza while we do it. I tried a couple of beers, with the More Cider!!! -- cider with pear puree -- being my favorite. I also ordered a pizza for my sister-in-law and myself. It was Pizza Week, and I went with the special of chicken, bacon and ranch pizza. I put the order in, but 45 minutes later, our pizza had still not arrived. We finally went up to see what was the hold-up, and it turns out they lost our ticket. But they handled it very professionally and ended up giving us our pizza for free. Even with a packed house, their customer service in the face of a mistake was top notch. Noble Funk needs some more acclaim. The beer is inventive and great. Love the pizza. The space is large yet welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful. What more could you ask for in a brewery?!?

Beautiful, good music playing, smell of pizza in the air ; everyone is smiling Went to Noble Funk yesterday with my husband who was on a tasting panel for some new brews they were experimenting with. While he was engaged with the panel for 3.5 hours I got to enjoy sitting in the most comfortable and beautiful, peacefully designed lounge area reading my book and shipping on a martini....yes they do have more than beer at Noble Funk. The place is definitely a highlight in SoBro. Outside they have tables, seating, corniest, games for kids...so the outside definitely becomes a family favorite to hang out while drinking some craft beer.Noble Funk has a decent menu and serves up an incredible amount of pizza from their inside ovens...both for consumption on site as well as pickup and delivery. I've reviewed Noble Funk in the past and it remain my favorite craft brewery in Louisville. If you sit at the bar you place your orders directly with the bartender. If you plan to sit in the lounge you place your order at the bar for both food and drink. You'll take your drink back to the table along with a number on a stand fit your food order. Servers will deliver your food directly to your table.Servers at Noble Funk are always pleasant, happy, and many have been there long term. Get yourself to Noble Funk...you won't be disappointed

Ambiance is awesome! I was very surprised and impressed. For those who've lived in Louisville, this is the old second street Kroger. The outdoor area has some game areas on AstroTurf. It's very well done and kid friendly. The indoors has great decor and plenty of seating. If you have a large group or want a secluded table, they have it.They also have a pizza oven. We tried the pepperoni and the Tuscan chicken. I was very impressed by both. The Tuscan chicken was way better than I expected. I'm not even a cruat guy, but I ate it all. I'd highly recommend getting pizza while sipping on their brew. The Mr. American IPA was delicious as well. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. I don't frequent breweries but I'd definitely return to this one!

This is a beautiful location and it doesn't feel like the divey breweries I know and love. The beer list is decent, but nothing outstanding or noteworthy. However, the pizza was delicious. This is one of Louisville's best offerings in a city overflowing with pizza and beer combinations. The flavors are out of the box, and lend to plenty of creativity. There are many spaces to hang out with tables everywhere, so it's perfect for families.

I always enjoyed this brewery. It is a beautiful space. They have good choices of beers. Also they have great pizza which I enjoyed it a lot. I do come back whenever I feel like it. They have good parking space, if it is fully. They could park on campus after business hour or street parking.

I work at Spalding University so naturally Noble Funk became a go-to spot for my coworkers and I can go and also have work-related happy hour with the president. I would say I am not a big beer fan but have always found a sweet cider or drink that is on the fruitier side such as More Cider which has an apple crisp flavor. Now, the vibe is very industrial but also cozy. There are couches/ big soft chairs where you can lounge around. They are known for their pizza and I haven't had a pizza I didn't like. This pizza is the Tuscan chicken pizza and was delicious! This space is just a great place to host events and use the outdoor area with ping pong, cornhole, and chairs to sit around. If you happen to be in this area-- I would highly recommend it and hang out with friends!

Noble funk brewing is a beautiful and spacious brewery and eatery located in downtown Lousiville Kentucky. I have visited this location a few times over the last few months and it never disappoints. The interior is spacious and modern and has great spots for lounging, playing games and dining. The service is always very fast and very friendly. I have yet to have a bad experience with any of the workers. Being a brewery they naturally have some house beers. I am admittedly not a big beer guy but they have a handfulThat I'm ok with trying. One called passion potion I particularly enjoy. They do have a small food menu that includes pizza. I'm a big pizza guy so you already know I was trying that. The pizza for being a place that specializes in brew is very good. Larger and more substance than I was expecting and a nice cheese and sauce combo. A very good pie. I've had pizzerias that weren't as good. My wife on one occasion ordered the gumbo and was very satisfied. So it's safe to say everything off the food menu we have had has been a thumbs up. Overall a really cool place with awesome vibes that is fit for large or smaller gatherings and can satisfy a taste palette for brews and bites.

I'll admit to being conflicted from the start about Noble Funk. On paper, the positives are obvious -- a family-friendly local gathering spot, activating a neglected space in the urban core. If you were to plop this down at the corner of Market and Hancock, it would look like Rabbit Hole and Garage Bar swallowed each other up, and it would be mobbed. But no, it's south of Broadway, a place that needs housing density, tree groves, and a real grocery store more than it needs this. But we'll gladly take a brewery over a Dollar Tree or a vacant expanse of blacktop. And so how has this turned out?Well, the beer is solidly good, and despite the name, not especially out-there. But as it turns out, I really come here for the pizza, which is exceptional. We knew that when Ten20 announced their partnership with Mozza Pi that their pizza would be a reason to go there. But I might just come here for the food as much as for the beer. And I'll also admit that I was more than a little skeptical about the vibe. The decor is a little more hotel-lobby than I prefer, but if you look around, you'll find comfortable seating and spots that feel more intimate. And on a nice day, the outdoor space is a lot of fun, and great for kids. In short, I'm happy to have Noble Funk in rotation, and I'm pleased with what they've been able to do with a weird building in a weird spot.
