No. 1 Kitchen

This has became our go-to Chinese place in the river cities area (since Sherry at China Wok sold out) Not overly expensive. Large portions. Always crowded. Is that good or bad?Much better than our local Chinese place. Its only 30 miles away. Merely a milk run for the Kiser Klan. We've drove 400 miles to eat at a restaurant. This is a bargain. Delivery guy has a fast looking Mustang that looks like he made many fast deliveries in it.

It's too bad they don't do dine-in anymore... but this is still the best place for Chinese takeout in the TriState!

Opened in a previous Waffle House, the food there is always awesome. I love Asian food, and I have to say this is the best place around for your money. All meals are reasonable in price, made with fresh ingredients, and prepared by oriental chefs.Plenty of parking, but limited seating I just live this place.

We had excellent food and service. We ordered delivery multiple times and each time staff was friendly. Portions were large and good! We enjoyed the lo mein and crab ragoons! If we are back in the area we will order again!

Best take out Chinese place in the TriState. Quick, delicious, and easy to order/pick up.

Food is good, don't expect some exquisite dining experience because this isn't that. I always call ahead about 15-20 minutes and the food is always ready when I get there and it's always right. Sometimes you'll get a certain worker there who is a little rude or difficult, but that's just what comes with these kinds of places. Other than that the workers are polite.

This place has the best Chinese food around, otherwise I would never come back. Because unfortunately they also have the worst attitude toward customers. The white woman at the front desk is the most rude I've ever seen anyone act working in a place of business. But the worst part I the fact that they leave the phone off the hook if they don't feel like taking anymore orders. Like today. I've called for hours. One full hour was just pressing redial every 2 seconds but it was busy everytime. She might not care about the business making money but the owner should. This is ridiculous.

The food was cooked fast the taste was decent but the Chicken lo mien was extremely oily and the the lady that ran the register and took my order was very impatient. I've been here before and actually ate in the restaurant and it was really good, this time it was carry out only and was disappointing.

While the food here was excellent, the delivery order got practically everything wrong on the occasion I ordered from here. Additionally, I was surprised how long it took to receive the order, significantly longer than the time quoted.I would certainly consider ordering from here again, though it would probably be for takeout to ensure both that my order was correct and that it was completed expeditiously. Haven't yet found a better Chinese takeout place in Huntington yet, so this will still do for now.Overall: 3.0 stars---------Pros:- Food is excellent and flavorful.- Many coupons are available to get a freebie with your order.Cons:- On the occasion I ordered delivery, the order arrived late and was not terribly accurate. This could be solved via opting to do takeout rather than delivery next time.

Forget Ambiance ... Forget Texas Roadhouse! Passing thru Traveler decided to try this place! An empty lot ... I porked out and ordered: Hot n Sour Soup ... Perfect & awesomeRoast Pork with Chinese Vegetables ... Sublime sauce mix (Hoisin for sure with Teriyaki, etc) Fried Egg Roll with PorkRice came with meal ... Then I noticed the place explode with take out orders ... Nobody eating in except me ... Covid took its toll I guess ... But there's no guessing about the Mandarin Quality of this family's food ... I enquired and they are from the East Coast of China (Fuzhou) ... It was enjoyable to listen to family cook and chatter in Mandarin. If you're near Huntington and are hungry, do not pass up Number 1 ... They are aptly named and my old friend Tony Bourdain would have been delighted to get into the Pork Festivus that I enjoyed.
